nvidyabros... we're all gonna make it.

how bout some link, nigger

https://www.tomshardware.com/pc-components/gpus/nvidias-16-pin-time-bomb-could-be-defused-by-this-usd95-gadget-ampinel-offers-load-balancing-that-nvidia-forgot-to-include
>>
>>106776483
lol, you literally cant load balance something that does not pull the current, the gpu will just throttle (or shutdown) due to not enough current/voltage. the idiots in charge of this are are completely retarded (or maybe they are genius that plan to trick every single nvidiot into spending another $100 into something worthless. and before you say that it prevents housefires, think this, that is another set of 12vhp connectors added onto the thing, it will double the chances of a housefire, not reduce it)

> enthusiast mobo with nvlink support when
> enthusiast (80/90/Ti) gpu in an nvlink form factor when
> 48V in consumer mobos, even (especially) SFF when? (USFF/appliances have 19/20V and PoE)

You are much smarter than the engineers at both Nvidia and Ampinel. Thank you for being our champion.
>>
>>106776483
and this will combust too
>>
Shit, mistook it for an another one.
My point stands: just solder proper motherfucking copper wires and get anderson connectors.
>>
>>106776536
fpbp. should be a bannable offense desu.
>>106778343
he might be desu. the power delivery in these things are retardedly incompetent.
>>
>>106778343
>smarter
NTA but they could easily just say a bunch of bullshit that would make consumers buy extra stuff. Wouldn't make anon smarter than the engineers, nor the engineers any dumber
>>
>>106776483
why is there no recall? the connector is obviously a fire hazard as it is.
>>
>>106779439
ur plugging it wrong.
>>

Why did Ford not install the bare minimum to keep the fuel tank on a Pinto from being sent into the cabin area during a rear end collision?
The court settlement payouts would cost less than having to actually solve the issue
>>
>>106779439
why would they? its a user error.
>>
>>106779962
This. Why should Huang deprive himself of a new jacket just because his customers are stupid? Fuck 'em, the real money is coming in from the AI bubble, anyway.

That reminds me of the cf moto 450mt, it ships with a hole in one of the chassis bars, when raining or pressure washing the bike water enters there and drops to the bottom of the bars and stays there rusting it from inside.
Instead of altering the production line so they don't drill a hole or to solder it, they sent a memo to dealers to just drill another hole at the bottom so the water drains through there.
They then increased the price for 500 euros making it more expensive than western and japanese bikes and proceeded to charge a subscription for a device that's included by default inside the bike and was free until a month ago.
