WHY THE FUCK ARE WE TEACHING THE ROBOT TO FIGHT.
>>
>>106785841
robot can always fight

robot fight is default state

do not be confused
>>
>>106785825
how heavy is that robot?

>>106785841
this
>>
>>106785825
So many times the robot was barely balanced, if he was actually fighting rather than going through choreography he would have had it on the floor in seconds.
>>
>>106785900
It's normal for humans to not be always perfectly balanced, it's more believable this way. He looks more natural than that Chinese robot that has very robotic moves and you can clearly see how he is switching animations. Also this robot is much bigger, it's not toy midge like uni robot.

>>106785874
Probably like 125-165lb. Final product aim is 125lb.

Balance is still bit weak for acrobatic stuff(prob why they are using wires as safety), however I think for normal workload, it should be perfectly fine.
>>
>>106785957
>it's more believable this way.
I'd want my fighting robot to win fights, not be believable
>>
>>106785977
Wait 1 year for real fighting robots.
>>
>>106785825
Humanoid bot cage fight show. That show technique/balance/speed/predictive powers. With weight/height restrictions.
>>
>>106785825
How long can that thing operate on a battery?
>>
>>106785841
It's protective and defensive function in relation to it's master will be demanded by it's buyers
>>
>>106785841
Bodyguard bot. Security guard bot that needs to defend the property of the owner.

I want to see them do this.
>>
>>106785957
Of course it looks more natural, it's being teleoperated.
>>
>>106787135
Nope. Its learned sequence being played back
>>
[sound of a million amerigolems seething]

That's a programmed scene, and the human is barely tapping the robot.
Wait until (even in sim):
> The robot can execute operations at its own speed of perception and reaction
> The robit can identify and classify threats in its AoE
> The robot can efficiently defend itself by using its own power from unarmed threats.

Then we have the cream on the top
> The robot effectively utilizes small unit tactics
> The robot uses the force continuum (Warning, Self defense, Disarm, Neutralize, Cripple, Destroy)
> The robot can defend itself against armed threats (improvised weapons, bludgeoning weapons and staves, knives and swords) (gun is too easy - strap props to a MG and balance it)
>>
>>106785825
>movement is fully scripted
>actor does his best not to touch the robot, because it can easily mess up it's script or even worse, knock him down
>>
>>106785841
WHY THEY FUCK ARE THEY STRAPPING BOMBS TO ROBOT-DRONES AND EXPLODING HUMANS WITH THEM.
>>
>>106785973
>Probably like 125-165lb. Final product aim is 125lb.
interesting. I thought they were much heavier.
