I cant be the only one who prefers matte finish displays right?
Reflections on glossy panels are very distracting and disruptive, matte simply doesnt have any of that and can still look just as good for the most part.
Why is this such a divisive subject?

Yeah glossy can look good if you've got no reflections but in general it looks like shit. My monitors are all matte.

Depends on where.
For me matte always looked "smeary".
If I'm in a dimly lit environment glossy isn't that much of a big deal at all. If you're going to buy something like a QD-OLED monitor, you might as well buy it glossy, because it's going to be shit if you shine light on it. Also cleaning these monitors is a pain in the ass if they have some coating on.
Also I have to work with matte finish displays at some place and early in the morning it doesn't save the monitor from being fucking unusable if sunlight shines directly on it.
