Always has been. C# is comfy.

Sorry, but I know nobody who uses it. Have a nice day.
>>
it has milion features like C++ but somehow it works flawleslly
>>
>>106791118
It is C++++ after all
>>
hot reload is nice but it still compiles too slowly. Also feels like it needs a ide.
>>
My attempt at learning C# and dotnet was a failure because it made me realize how fucked up windows is as a programming ecosystem. I like the language itself but dotnet and trying to accomplish shit on windows feels fucking schizophrenic

Use Rider on Linux or macOS like a sane person.

it's used a lot by companies who are Microsoft's bitches
there are many mid-sized companies that fit this profile and even large companies that are not pure tech but tech-adjacent
they buy into the Microcuck ecosystem, Winblows, azure etc. and then C# is really the sanest option

if you are not part of the Microsoft ecosystem, there is no reason to use it instead of Java

Except Java has more design sins.
