honestly how the fuck do you *not* wrest your rist at all while mousing/gaming/typing? I have carplel tunnlel and I cant figure it out.
>>106795022do exercises, stretches, and massages to strengthen all your arm muscles so there isnt an imbalance.
make sure your wrist floats and doesn't have any pressure on the under side, that's how you get ctsrsi is a different story though
That is correct op, raping young girls is correct posture.
>>106795022Get a vertical mouse
>>106795022Move your hand further right.
>>106795022>This natural resting position your arm was literally designed to go into is unnatural!Holy fuck I hate corpo Jews so much
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O_LPmo6MPug&pp=ygUFbW91c2U%3Dcould you guys check this docty's method out and let me know what you think? i find this incredibly difficult, I would need to turn my mouse DPI down by several thousand to be able to do this properly, I have a logitech G pro
>>106795022shit if only there was other joints and shit you could use to rotate your arm and hand
>>106795140retardignore the fucking picture, anons. this thread is about how the fuck do you use a mouse ergonomically, without fucking up your wrist by resting it on the desk/whatever. I'm just now trying to "float" it is super difficult
>>106795022>how the fuck do you *not* rest your wristBecause I'm not resting *on* my wrist. My palm is what rests on my desk try it out
>>106795022>vshojo whoreI'm glad you have carpal tunnel.
carpal tunnel is an arm rest cuck problemStop using the arm rests of your chair and rest your entire arm on the deskYour wrist will naturally float that way
>>106795022Get a boobie mousepad
>>106795120>Chiropractor >Doctoranon this is just a guy in a white coat talking out of his ass
>>106795322that is what I do and that is considered ergonomically un-good, it is what I've always done and I have been having issues with carpal tunnel >>106795710yea, people thinking chiropractic, the practice, & its practitioners have anything whatsoever to do with the field of medicine, nursing, medical doctorship, etc. is telling >>106795432no idea what that means or what that is
I rest my arms on my big hairy gut, how's that for a fucking armrest
>>106795022I hate my vertical mouse but I use it because I paid it 120€
>>106795120Well groomed, cleanly shaven middle-aged man, little suit & tie under his well-fitted white coat. I haven't heard a word of him but everything about this man screams charlatan who rapes his patients.
>>106795022Because I have man hands that break lineman's pliers like they were tooth picks. Klein keeps me on their payroll because it was cheaper than paying for replacement tools.I look at my mouse and it knows where to go.My pc begs me to turn it on.Real man's world. Real man's hands.
>>106795111That's not a natural position unless your mouse is balancing on top of your knee
>>106795022They key is tendon strength. I got carpal tunnel before and cured it with grip strength exercises and pushups. You can also do that martial arts thing where you hold your arms up infront of you for a long time. It's very slow compared to using weights but you can do it every day even if you've got lots of pain and weakness and it won't hurt you. Basically, the reason you have pain is you're putting too much load on your wrist/arm and it's getting overworked. The only two solutions are to stop using a mouse entirely until it goes away and then never using one again for long periods of time, and building so much strength you can effortlessly hold your arms up all day long without strain.Start out with rest of at least a few days(use your other hand), then stretching and isometrics(basically just tense your muscles as hard as you can without hurting yourself and hold it there for as long as you can), then after that try out some bodyweight progressions. Go very very slow, each phase should take at least half a week, ideally you should never feel any pain or fatigue, you're not training for the olympics you just want to be able to lift a computer mouse.
>>106795111>your arm was literally designed to go>designedAre you retarded or American? There was no designer. Read about natural selection
>>106795022Switch mouse to your left hand, that way your right hand has time to heal, then your left hand gets carpal syndrome you switch and so on
>>106796828Uh oh he wrote one of reddit's trigger words
would using something like picrel not help?I don't have an ergo mouse but sometimes I hold my hand like this on a normal mouse, having my index and middle finger run on the buttons from the side, and it feels quite comfy, though the buttons are somewhat harder to press
>>106795022I use a trackball and rest my wrist on a wrist rest.
>>106795022There's no perfect form for posture and developing pain when doing something repetitive for a long time is inevitable be it surfing the web or coal miningWhat you need to do is change positions often, move around and take frequent breaks, even brief ones
>>106797211No, it just moves the pressure to the side of your wrist.
>>106795022I can't believe they get away with misinformation like this. This is a lawsuit waiting to happen. This will legitimately give people carpel tunnel. Please don't do this!!!The correct way to use a mouse is to keep your wrist unbent. That's all you need to do. Adjust the height of your chair and arm wrests so you can have your arms resting comfortably, and use the mouse/keyboard without bending your wrist up, down, or sideways Do this and you'll never have carpel tunnel, and if you already do have it, this will cure it for you. Keep your wrists strait and unbent. That's all there is to it.
>>106795022have a friend that uses a vertical mouse and wanted to try that.it felt like i was holding a dick, got weirded by that and did not looked back ever since
>>106795022For me it's the silicone boob.I rest my wrist on it and move my mouse with my fingers.I think with a vertical mouse you have to move your entire arm. Some people do this with a traditional mouse but in my experience that's a lot more tiresome for your shoulder and lower arm than just moving your fingers. If your problem is with your fingers then I guess moving your whole arm is better for you.
>>106799497That is indeed the best advice.Specifically you shouldn't force yourself into "proper posture" positions. They are complete pseudo-science bullshit.Just find a couple of positions that are comfortable to you and alternate every 20 minutes or so.It's also a good idea to get a pull-up bar or other gym equipment so you can do some light exercise or just a stretch once an hour or so.
