I bought a refurb laptop (w10 era but 'upgraded' to W11) and it ran hella hot. Don't know what W11 does but CPU going apeshit constantly.I planned on putting linux on it but rode W11 for a few weeks just to try it out. My verdict is it's just a more bloated 10 the only thing that really bugged me is what everyone else says about it... the right click function is fucked. I still use windows constantly (i have a job) windows 10 is much better. my gaming computer has w10 and I am going to keep it, security be damned
Overall it's a pain in the ass because the interface is really sloppy. Everything from picrel to simply finding the right settings to inconvenient defaults to glitches.

at work we've been switching over to Win 11 and we noticed that after a while, everyone's RAM usage eventually gets pinned to ~99% and the only solution is to reimage the PC entirely, but that's just a bandaid solution; after a while (a few months), the problem will show up again.
