>worst PWM than chinks phones

American companies just don't care about their costumers anymore isn't it?

Good morning

Good morning and goodbye 4chan and the rest of the internet.

PWM shouldn't even be a thing... or at least it should be clearly stated in the specs and not in some vague "barely flickers/flicker free" scale some lightbulbs use...
I was shocked to find that expensive Philips LEDs advertised as flicker free actually flickered a lot and gave me headaches; replaced with noname chink LEDs, no flicker, no headache, cheaper. probably won't last as long but I prefer not having headaches...

how do you check?

Ocular inspection during operation

Well I kept having massive headaches soon after putting in that Philips led. So I figured I'd check it at various shutter speeds. Yeah lots of banding no matter the shutter.
Did the same with the chink one. No flicker/banding no matter the shutter.
I then managed to dig up some obscure docs on the philips and realised their flicker was burried in specs and they were lying with their "flicker free" advertising

My dad showed me this crazy trick as a kid, where you open your eyes and you look at it and that way you can see if it flickers or not
>>
>>106805866
Holy shit, the "check with your eyes you dumb faggot" test?
>>106805691
Anon you need to see this immediately

Yes, those were the exact words he used!

>same frequency as fapple (well above visible)
>duty cycle is lower because the screen is physically brighter

If you jitter your eyes around rapidly (think: scared anime girl) you can see things that are PWM. try an old alarm clock, you'll see the segments sorta melt into each other.
Vibrating your skull/jaw can also do this. Use electric toothbrushes or whatever fucked up sex toys you faggots own.

You need at least 10kHz to make it invisible. More than that if you have fast eyes.
