there's aggressive dynamic pricing algorithm in place. i noticed since about last week. when i add things to cart from coin page. if i leave the cart page and come back the prices have gone up.so it's basically a coin nerf. unless you buy immediately. high pressure sales tactic.

>Some spare Outemu mechanical switches to testHaven't tried them yet but they're decent from what I can tell.>Desk clamp for headphonesCheap and convenient. No screw so it's easy to install and remove for cleaning etc.>Ugreen vertical laptop standNo complaints either, another nice desk space saver.>Quick release system for camera strapGood enough for my occasional use, it's still partially plastic so I don't trust it 100% with an expensive camera. I'll install them and see how they look but I doubt I'll use them.>Pudding ABS keycap setThey were very cheap so I gave them a try. They look cheap and stupid. Bad case of mindless consumerism on my part.>Green PBT keycap setSo far I'm happy with these, quality looks ok, but I haven't installed them yet. Was recommended by anon a few threads back, they're great and cheap.>Eweadn S9A 1:1 clone of the viper shape. Got it because I love this color, it supports 2.4G wireless, wired and bluetooth so very convenient when using multiple computers. I'm not the pickiest with mouse build quality but I can't find any obvious flaw, buttons click in any position, no rattling anywhere, lightweight, the shape is a perfect clone. I know the driver is web based which is great but I haven't even had to use it.
I'm trying Kafuter AB glue in the guide. It's shit. I try to glue a broken fan blade. I waited 24 hours for the full cure time. The blade flies right off when the motor is running. The glue appears all fancy. It has the super glue chemical smell. It's no different than basic water based childrens glue. It does not stick to the plastic. It peels right off easily. There's no hardness or adhesion at all.In their video they glue two piece of metal together. They bend and hammer it to demonstrate its strength. No way this is the same glue.
>>106816946Here is the fan blade just now. The clean break of the fan blade is obvious. No sign of any glue was ever applied.

>>106816715Looks like a nice mouse, how much was it?Do they make all these mice in the same factory mine came in a box identical to it but just different branding.
>>106816677Depends on your use case.Personally, probably Elves 2 > ES Pro/ES > Nova 2 Lite > 2C > Tegenaria, but I've only used the Elves 2 and prefer wireless when able.Out of those, only the Gulikit controllers have gyro if that matters for you. Tegenaria Lite's hardwired with awful stick linearity, but the d-pad's apparently good. 2C probably has more linear sticks, but has non-linear triggers. I've never had a good experience with 8Bitdo d-pads, but 2C was their first controller to start taking notes from the Vita so it might be fine.Gulikit controllers have no extra buttons. Elves 2 sticks are tiny. No 2.4ghz, but the Bluetooth's better than even Dualsense Edge. Elves 2 d-pad is fantastic, ES's is probably good too. ES Pro is the only one of these three with TMR sticks, but if Gamepadla's linearity tests are accurate, I don't see any meaningful difference in performance.Nova 2 Lite I've heard basically nothing about. I thought it had gyro but apparently it doesn't, so I guess it's probably effectively an ES -gyro +2 back buttons.>nova liteog nova lite was simply the cheapest possible wireless controller that functioned decently at its time. I don't think there's much reason to consider it these days since Tegenaria Lite and Nova 2 Lite are better controllers at similar price points, let alone everything else mentioned in this post>the 8bitdo has tmr2C and ES Pro are TMR (and also the cheapest TMR controllers, along with Machenike G1 Pro), rest of these are hall effect
>>106816972normal "super glue" isn't going to cut it. you need to hot glue the shit out of it to the point where it looks like you used too much. i'm talking globs all around the break, enclosing it and then some.
>>106817248AB glue is bi-component stuff (usually epoxy resin iirc), good ones can be damn strong and imo it should be enough to hold a small fan blade

>>106817376sounds like you did it right, it's a process that's hard to fuck up. I have only ever used a Pattex one that works really well, only problem is that it's all in the same "syringe" and one of the two components has hardened a bit over time so it's impossible to get a perfect 1:1 ratio, still I just mix the two parts well (they go from transparent to a bit milky and denser) and apply it and the next day it's completely hardened
Hey lads im looking for a mouse, kde connect has taught me that gyroscope base mouse movement on low sensitivity is the best fine movement pointer control one can get, so i want a handheld trackball with gyroscope functionality, trackball moved by thumb and preferably something that doesnt need a surface to work/rest on. Also the smaller the better and wired > wireless, finally i want this to go in my ultralight hiking setup so itll be with my ar glasses, minipc, foldable keyboard, etc. Please give me suggestions if you have any.

I'm looking for powerful Chink lamps, of the "garage light" variety, with multiple fins. The problem is that all the Ali stores seem to sell the same dozen variations of lights without giving reliable specs about any of them. Loads of them are listed as 40W 60W 80W, some are even listed at 10'000 lumen. All of this is bullshit. I did purchase some 40W and 80W ones in the past (https://aliexpress.com/item/1005006069580538.html), and tested them and their real power draw was 10W and 15W respectively, and their output was really quite modest, pretty much in line with what you'd expect from a 10W bulb. The thing is, I really do want some extra powerful bulbs of this kind that genuinely output in the 3000-5000 lumen range.

>>106820487It's one of those categories where you probably are better off buying it from a middleman if you're able to. Zhang finally delivered my trash, here's my impressions; The boring ones first, The cable ties are perfectly serviceable, not weak not surprisingly strong perfectly average cable ties, The model knife is nice in the hand the knurling is good, it holds the blade nice and tight is super sharp as it should be, bought 600 pieces of paper-thin double sided tape, better than i thought, have used to hang a poster and a power-strip, works well for now, the 3m Velcro straps I’ve used to hang drill-bit holder on my workbench, strong stuff perfectly good. No-name GPU support, it's nice and stable, does exactly what it's supposed to. Kitchen thermometer is accurate, if slow to show change in temperature, when i stuck it in boiling water it only increased from room temperature to 100c in 5 degree intervals, for 1 dollar i can't complain.I'll join the other anons in praise of the engineer solder sucker clone, have used it to de-solder mouse switches, ,mighty sucking power solid construction, great stuff. The Essager cable is a 240W with a display on one end, have tried with my Xiaomi phone, has the cq protocol for it worked great, my Laptop which does 65W through Thunderbolt, it does the full charge no problem whatsoever, and finally a 100W Soldering Iron, charged at full speed no problem, wish i had a tester to try the full 240W, but it seems to be what it says on the tin so far, wish I'd got the 1M variant inste4ad of the 2M one, it was only 70cents more for the 2M but it really is too long for me.The dragon kitchen mat i thought would be more plasticly, but it has a "furred" surface, it is anti-skid as advertises and very absorbent, i worry how it will hod up in the washer but that’s a problem for future me, do really like the little dragon on it, no idea what he has to do with the kitchen but he is a cute little bugger
This real?Isolation isn't as good as reviews suggested but decent for how light it is. There's also some leakage. It should be the v1 version because white box, silver body and longer cable. Does v2 even exist and is it only the black body version or black box version. I've seen black Takstar Pro 82 in a white box.

I connected it to the TP Link router I'm no longer using in my house and the coverage is much better in the houses of relatives living next door. Received my Wurkkos HD03, standard Bic lighter for scale, paid 17€ for it, brief first impressions below>constructionoverall seems good and solid, pic doesn't show it well but it has a nice metallic color, body and clip are aluminium, the spring in the clip is strong and some rubber further helps with grip. There's also a magnet at the bottom of the clip that's strong enough to hold the flashlight upside down, just have to consider its position because if you place it on a vertical surface with the led part up or sideways it'll tend to swing to the bottom. The flood/throw switch feels nice, the button is just decent (it has a green-orange-red light that indicates battery level for a couple of seconds on turn on), the rubber cover for the usb-c port doesn't seem like it'll come apart easily. The size is small enough to tuck it away in a pocket and almost forget about it, but it's significantly bigger than the Nitecore Tiki (that I recently lost, so no comparison pics). Oh and it's supposedl IPX6.There's a screw on the back but I'm 99% sure that the shells are also glued together so not tinker-friendly product>ledsit has a ring of smaller, neutral, high-CRI leds behind a diffuser, they give a nice uniform beam with a listed max output of a bit over 300 lumens. They will definitely be what I'll use the mostAt the center there's one cold, lowish-CRI led with a bit of throw, listed max output over 600 lumensThe outputs of both seem realistic to my eyes, both modes hold turbo for around 30 seconds before gradually stepping down, haven't tested this much yet but this is the kind of light that I use in short bursts or in low power modes so I don't particularly careThere's also a ring of RGB leds, I struggle to think of uses for them since the output is pitifully weak (red is noticeably weaker than even white's moonlight, which can be an advantage I guess if you only need a smidge of light), more on them in the next section (1/3)
>>106825487>UI/UXsingle click for ON/OFF (no memory, always starts from low), holding the button for one second goes to the next mode and it loops between low-medium-high-turbo.When ON a double click goes straight to turbo, but annoyingly from there a single click brings you to the previous mode rather than directly turning OFF.When ON a triple click goes to the flashing shit (well tucked away which is nice, didn't even know it existed until I read the manual) and double click cycles between strobe-SOS-beacon, all at fixed max power from the looks of it. One click steps back to normal modes like with turbo. having the main modes cycle with holding the button and the secondary ones with double click trips me up, hopefully I'll get used to it.At any time during operation you can use the switch to move between the throwy and the floody leds, this will step back from turbo or the flashing shit but on normal modes it'll maintain the current power level. When OFF holding the button gets you to moonlight, it'll stay ON and from there you can cycle up to low. Moonlight is a bit stronger than I'd likeNow for a pocket flashlight single click activation isn't ideal, but with a triple click from OFF you can set an electronic lock, you can still hold the button to go on low but it'll turn off on release. Unlocking (with another triple click) directly turns on the flashlight rather than making you click again for it which I personally appreciate, but I can see others disliking (if you want to use moonlight you first have to go through low for example, not ideal) (2/3)
>>106825491>UI/UX cont. (colors)When OFF a double click takes you to the RGB, first with a fixed hue that you can change by holding the button (this is stepless and quite quick, so stopping on a specific color can be finnicky, but at least releasing and holding again inverts the direction so you can kinda go back and forth until you get what you want). The hue is the only thing that stays in memory so I set it to red, as I mentioned before its low output could be at least a bit useful. Double click changes modes, next one is a beacon with only the selected hue (again might be marginally useful in red to be slightly more visible to cars at night, but in this scenario I'd want more power), while the other modes either use a fixed hue or they automatically switch through all of them (they do so too quickly imo, which is often the case with these budget lights). They are silly and useless, might entertain a kid or a stoned friend for a bit i guess. All in all it might not be perfect but the UI is very well thought-out for a budget flashlight.Durability and battery life remain to be seen, but for now I'd say that it's great value for the price I paid for it despite it having an entire set of features I don't care about, I expect to get a lot of use out of this little thing if it doesn't shit the bed on me. (3/3)
>>106825494fugg I forgot, it comes with two attachments:on is the pictured small laniard with plastic ring, the other is a munch chunkier and longer paracord loop that you attach to the clip with a round carabiner (4/3)

It probably comes from the fact that what was initiall called "pants" used to be likely comprised of two separate pieces, one for each leg, and later on "a pair of [lower body piece of clothing]" persisted even when those clothes started being made as one piece
>>106827696Slovenian and it's the same here. Well similar, we wouldn't say a pair of pants but pants is a word that's always plural.
>>106822506I remember reading that good solder needs lead and that unless you're licking the solder you won't have any adverse effects, is it true?
>>106827635Post link to product page?
>>106827725https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008802079622.htmlbought the teal and black 2 packnow that i think about i rarely say "pair of pants", i just say pants. bought some new pants the other day and etc.so needing to specify that i bought 2 pairs of pants made me use "pair of pants" wrong. just EOP things where we don't pay attention to grammar rules because we're entitled idiots
>>106822768I don't have any chink ones but my hot take is that any premade stick sold these days should be ok for arcade games, since they all use decent microswitches now. The disagreements start when competitive fighting gamers enter the discussion. They'll shit on anything bellow $200 and rec you some unsightly hitbox with WASDNo joystick, no joythis one looks serviceable and cheap, lots of reviews aliexpress.com/item/1005007171698011.html
>>106827673> If the shank size on your router is 6mm, then what about a 6mm bit ?Well, a 6 mm but is 2 mm too wide, when I want to route a 4 mm notch. (I want to built some specialized Brio tracks for my kids and they’re 4 mm wide.)>>106827696I know about those medieval things, but I’m just going to pretend I don’t:>lol, this nigga be wearing some gay chaps with free access to his ass and dick!Looking at it like this, it kinda makes sense (still: gaaaaaaayyyy!!!), but I prefer the German EINE HOSE! MIT ZWEI BEINEN. MEHRERE HOSEN!
>place order same day as the typhoon hit taiwan>some places were rased, some peple even died>shipping of chink shit gets delayed>tomorrow will receive $5 because the order will arrive later than advertisedmmm
>>106825664>I think UGREEN has an official AliExpress store even.It does. It actually has two or three.

>>106827969is this why my orders are not shipped yet?
What's the best budget controller nowadays if I don't care about additional buttons?GAMESAR cyclone 2 or gulikit ES?
Installing a chinkshit battery powered doorbell for my outside gateany tips on making a tiny roof to avoid water falling on it? The previous one eventually stopped working due to prolonged exposure to the elements afaik. Its similar to picrelApologies for my english, its my 3rd language
>>106829279>any tips on making a tiny roof to avoid water falling on it?depends on how /diy/ you are, since you are asking I assume 3D printing and woodworking (that doesn't look like ass) are out of the question. A random idea is that you could get a cheap bird house and cannibalize it by removing the front and bottom
>>106829390nvm just realized i can just put it below my mailbox sorry for wasting your timei may put some "side shields" by screwing into the gate bars some white plastic planks>3D printing and woodworkingLOL no, i can barely drive a nail into a plank but i know how to screw a screw
i've only ever bought multi hundred dollar atuff from aliexpress. is it actually safe to get multi rhousand dollar stuff from there? would their buyer protection actually be better or at least the same with low ticket items?
>>106827714Basically, yes. Leaded solder is easier to work with and less prone to cracking. Lead also reduces the formation of tin whiskers. Soldering temperatures aren't high enough to cause lead to fume, though solder can sputter tiny blobs around your workspace. Keep it away from food, wash your hands, and you'll be fine. The other advantage of 63/37 over 60/40 is that it's eutectic, meaning that both the tin and lead melt/solidify at the same temperature. I have a 1lb spool of a good western brand that I got during covid and I'm kicking myself for not buying more because it now costs three times as much. I got these because Mechanic is supposed to be decent and they were super cheap with discounts.I've heard lead free formulations have gotten better, and I should probably get a spool to have around, but I honestly haven't looked into it much.
Any good chingrish to english translator here? I can only get my receiver to ring once, the first time it supposedly "matches" with the doorbell, but i cant get it to ring at all after thatIts an "Aigostar Wireless doorbell", can't post a link to the full manual because 4chan thinks its spam but its easy to find under "Aigostar Wireless Doorbell: Installation and Operation Guide"
>>106830284also in the youtube tutorial it seems simple enoughhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLZbhe4cahQ
>>106830274I still have a short length of audio grade solder from some german brand in my drawer.
>>106827714Sorta. You should wear a mask or have a fan blowing away from where you're soldering, but even without it unless you're operating an assembly line in your house you're not going to be in much danger from such small quantities.also>lickingyou can eat lead and just get indigestion from having eaten a fucking hunk of metal. It's more about the fumes, or having really constant exposure (e.g. getting stuff on your hands day in day out for a 30 year career)
>>106829279water will always get in no matter what, just get one that's water proof
>>106829279>>106830498Just open it up and spray the board/buttons down with some silicone or WD-40 or something. Grease the battery contacts too. I make cheap solar lights outlast their batteries that way.
When is the next sale? I forgot to order waterproof socks for my hiking adventures
Some more chinkshit has arrived.>Hats https://aliexpress.com/item/1005006878357613.htmlhttps://aliexpress.com/item/1005007246452721.htmlThey're both printed and it's kinda iffy at best, wavy because of the fabric and whatnot. I don't know why I though they were embroided from the anon that posted them a few weeks back, guess it was dumb of me to think that.Anyways, you don't really wash hats all that often to worry about it.The grey one has way better fabric tho.>Plastic baggyIt's a female audio jack for something I'm working on, looks decent.>Little pocket knifehttps://aliexpress.com/item/1005008374568053.htmlReally heavy, like "makes me think the metal is partly lead" kind of heavy. Cuts decently, used it to open the rest of this shit.>Casehttps://aliexpress.com/item/1005009804873881.htmlFor a Retroid Pocket 5, it adds some grip to it, definitely needed if you don't have asian/kid/manlet hands.>Shirthttps://aliexpress.com/item/1005007242834916.htmlNow, for the pièce de résistance. The fabric is really thick, I don't think I have a t-shirt this thick, it's thicker than some polos I have even. The print looks great and I think it'll last.I went with XXXL and it fits nicely (I'm 1,88m tall and weigh 88kg).The shirt and the hats have that distinct chink shit smell tho, so I'll have to wash it before wearing them.
