No available upgrade found.
No newer package versions are available from the configured sources.

Sweet, notepad++ is my favorite editor of all time
>>
>>106817608
Same here, seems the update servers haven't been refreshed yet.
Also, making a thread for a point release is retarded.

Vim and Emacs are better, you are just dumb. Go on, tell me how learning about an editor is a waste of time while you sit here shitposting for 50000000000000 hours kek.
>>
>>106818176
I want a text editor, not a shitty OS
vs code for actual coding, n++ for lightweight stuff
>>
>>106818242
vim is extremely lightweight, much more lightweight than notepad++ will ever be, it's also much more powerful as an editor. Copes incoming.
>>
>>106818302
vim is meme editor used by neets and tinkertrannies
>>
>>106818302
eh, this might be true, never tried vim
I did try emacs and I just don't understand the simps hyping it up
>>
>>106818331
vim is a meme editor but it's usually available on all those almost-bare-metal shitboxes you have to deal with if you're a filthy wagie dealing with linux servers, and it's a hell of a lot better than nano
if you control the machine there's no reason to ever use it
>>
>>106818331
it's a powerful editor with a better feature set than n++, trolling won't change this
>>106818335
emacs has a steep learning curve, I wouldn't recommend it to most people that don't use editors heavily. IF you take the time to learn it, it can be really powerful, but it's not worth it for most people. I'd say vim is essential though for quick and efficient editing, especially if you use Linux.
>>
>>106818176
I'm not dumb and you're in no position to judge. also you have nothing of value to contribute

You didn't present a case for using n++ over Vim or Emacs, you just got butthurt at being called stupid.

He still won't add a exit confirmation before closing multiple tabs feature:

But he's more than willing to plaster pro-Israel, pro-Ukraine, pro-Al Qaeda, or pro-Hong Kong nagware in his program.

All are better. NP++ is reddit tier slop made by some preachy activist.

vscode is extreme bloat, sublime is constantly bug ridden. notepad++ is lightweight and as flexible as the other two but with the benefit of less problems.
>>
>>106823067
"bloat" like what? the ability to add syntax highlighting for a given language and debugger tools that hook into compilers / debuggers on the fly? what kind of stupid argument is that? its 2025 wake the fuck up
