If they did change the name at all, the obvious choice is to just break out the G(NU) and call it GNU Imp, and have a cute little Imp logo and just make sure it doesn't look too much like the FreeBSD Daemon. The interface could use some cleaning up, but not in the gay GNOME stupidification way.
