Will ComfyUI ever be surpassed?
>>106824613>thoughts?Unlike the anons who replied without watching the video, the issue Kurzgesagt is complain about is AI information. In short, the bullshit non-sourced, non fact-checked peer-reviewed content is being used as a source for AI. This means that AI is effectively spreading misinformation on an enormous scale. Kurzgesagt knows that if they want to be correct about their topics, then it involves them not using AI. But the problem then becomes about competing for people attention with the competition using AI with all that misinformation. Stuff that is lazy and misleading will end up being more profitable and thus the algorithms with favour them over genuine peer-reviewed science papers.
>>106824718>Where is the opposition to the anti ai rhetoric besides hiding in ai subreddits and diffusion threads on 4chan. the arguments have stayed the same or changed little since their inception so no one cares anymore >I posted links to ai videos 3 weeks ago on ldg thread and multiple anons were telling me to GTFO or KYS.deserved
>>106824730>This means that AI is effectively spreading misinformation on an enormous scale.how is that the fault of AI, it's up to people to verify informations by themselves, that's their own responsibility

>>106824730>the issue Kurzgesagt is complain about is AI informationHaving watched the video earlier, I don't understand why this is not the workflow:1) Generate the First Pass Output directly from the prompt+tools2) Using the First Pass Output, use a secondary prompt "make a list of all claims of fact"3) Structure the list of factual claims as a formal array4) Match each factual claim to a trusted database. Britannica, JSTOR / university libraries, previous case precedent, etc. As in, armed with only the factual claim as prompt and conventional "dumb" AI searches, the AI is tasked with finding support for the claim in isolation. Loop through the entire list.5) Output a summary of facts that can be supported and cannot be.6) Revise original First Pass Prompt with new findings.7) Output to User.I genuinely do not understand why this hallucination problem is considered such a final boss, when "misremembered something is corrected against written records" is a daily human occurrence.

>>106824735Nigger at least read and understand everything I said in that post. The volume of misinformation being spread by AI dwarfs peer-reviewed content. It will mean authentic information will be harder to come by because most people are lazy and parrot information they hear. That's a big problem when it's on such an enormous scale, made even worse by the way social media algorithms work. There is no known solution to this problem right now other than due diligence from the user, and things are likely to get worse as AI has only just begun.

AI hallucinations are not a big deal once you think about how human brains operate, and should be tackled in the exact same way human brains tackle hallucinations.
>>106824816I'm not a commie you fucking spastic. The issue with junk information is just that, it's junk. 4chan is already spammed to fuck with junk information, this site is practically unusable without word filters. >>106824835>against thingshating AI is a fairly popular stance, you'll never see a big youtuber saying actual controvertial stuff, they all have everything to lose if they do that
>>106824841you're just complaining, but what's your solution then? you can't remove freedom of speech, and misinformation is freedom of speech, whether you like it or not (and I'm not a fan of it either, since it means leftists can say men can magically transform into women or some shit, but I know letting someone control speech will never end well, I know my history)

>>106824835Because the video game industry is complete and utter shit, objectively. I'd love to hear how you think AAA games are good though lmao. >>106824841Here's a tip, we're less than 2 years away from having an AI make you disappear. We won't need word filters, an AI will read your post, determine if you're a troll, a JEET, a fag, etc, and make you disappear.
>>106824832>until the novelty wears off and normies stop clicking on everything.i hope that happens soon
>>106824854My point has nothing to do with objective truth, it's about what's popular and why. Objectively millions of people play and enjoy those games. There's an audience for both sides on paper, but you only see the negative side getting views.
>>106824843>hating AI is a fairly popular stanceTo be more accurate, it's "indiscriminately hating AI and saying it's a rebellious position" when every big tech channel, every comment agrees. It annoys me because it makes some people not trying any of the useful tools, and thus learning of how to use them properly and their limits, just because they've been constantly bombarded with this shit take.
>>106824852>but what's your solution then? you can't remove freedom of speech, and misinformation is freedom of speechI don't have a solution, I'm simply pointing out that this relaying of junk information by AI is a problem. And no, I'm not calling for the removal of misinformation. Personally, I think it's better to have stronger filtering tools on the user end so people can make up their own mind what they want to see.
Why are you letting disabo derail the thread?
>>106824840Actually no, I know the sky is blue not because I summarized 100 articles about it. >>106824907And you're a hand-wringing boomer that actually thinks he's the smartest person in the room when in reality you're a barely coping poorfag who has no one to talk to so he tries to sound smart on 4chan.
>>106824921Aspie, get back to doing your AI waifus.
>>106824925You do realize you didn't prove me wrong right? Are you not concern trolling? Maybe you should look up what it means.
>>106824905>the way it fucks up for a moment on cuts is incredibly jarring i think i notice it more and more every time i see another videoI think it was a clever idea, since you only have 10 seconds it is hard to tell the full story, so cuts helps summarize the whole thing well, I think the execution was mid though
>>106824916That was a very interesting post that does not in any way actually address any argument. The closest you get is "the brain is more complex," except the question was not about complexity, it was about the basics of how statistics transforms into "behavior." However, this is a useful illustration of the basic human ignorance of human cognition that leads to the problem in the first place, so thank you.
>>106824929Again, get back to doing your AI waifus, aspie.
>>106824931I love how you grossly simplify my argument and in turn make your assertion hilariously simplistic. We both know the human brain isn't just ChatGPT with a Quadrillion parameters. We both understand that our brain has more than a next token statistical calculator.
Local Diffusion?
>>106824870i think the discussion is warranted. Outside these diffusion threads, the negative outspeak of ai content on rest of 4chan is heavy. Go on /v/ thread outside a dall-e thread and try posting a gen. You get bombarded with accusations of being a pajeet with constant "saar" replies.
>>106824930I think he's talking about the very noticeable 4 frames over every cut like it has a raytracing gathering pass (or more like how Wan corrupts the first couple frames)
So am I supposed to cope with pixel space upscaling on Chroma or are there controlnets
Can I look at the high noise result before sending it off to the low noise? Is it even visible or mangled noise?
>>106824456
>>106824905>the way it fucks up for a moment on cuts is incredibly jarringit's like you teleport to an other place on video game and it didn't have the time to load all the assets, it's a weird effect yes >>>/wsg/5991006
>>106824941>We both understand that our brain has more than a next token statistical calculator. It is literally a "next ion channel opening" statistical executor.
>>106824930yeah i meant >>106824951 >>106824960i cannot underscore how jarring it is
>>106824951yeah I know, that's why I said the execution is mid
>>106824960I think it's fake.
>>106824949>Go on /v/ thread outside a dall-e thread and try posting a gen. You get bombarded with accusations of being a pajeet with constant "saar" replies. This simply means anon was able to spot it easily. If you want to do that, you have to make it *gasp* passably real.
>>106824960I'm guessing this has something to do with image-to-video being part of the training data. As in, there is the static image loaded first, which is then translated to motion, but that static image is present within the longer video as "just another frame."
>>106824951>>106824969>midit straight ass bruh fr
how is it we're this many years into image generation and SD1.5 still haven't been beat?
>>106824976orthe initial frame of each scene is another model
>>1068249791.4 is very good for some things. I deleted 1.5
>>106824960if I were openAI I would add a script that removes the first 3 frames everytime there's a cut, but I guess the audio would suffer a bit and we would notice it, I guess it shows this isn't the end of the road yet, but they're getting closer to anyone else so far
>>106824960>safety
>>106824979SD1.5 couldn't do text for shitmeanwhile i can generate shitposts in 10 seconds with qwen-image
>>106824953only chroma radiance specifically is a pixel space model. no controlnets afaik.there's not really a pixel space on the earlier models, they do latent space->vae.
>>106825030>yellow tintare you sure this isn't 4o imagegen?
>>106824953>>106825033The flux controlnet works with chroma but idk if specifically with radiance too.
>>106825034it was just that style of image, i think because wanted posters = western = yellow tint?a bunch of the gens looked normalgranted this is lightning-8step so the text isnt perfect but its good enough for throw-away shitposts
>>106825071>for felony tail gatingwhat a monster! tail gating is serious business!
Using input images with low denoise instead of empty latent images helps emulate some of the SD1.5 random gacha instead of SDXL->Pony/Il sameyness, but there is a lot of tradeoff. Denoise too high, it's no different from an empty image, denoise too low and anatomy errors etc are inevitable, moreso than conventional IL.
>>106824919>>106825033>>106825062i meant to say "cope with pixel space upscaling and a low denoise on the second pass" but i didnt know chroma1-base was able to withstand at least a bit higher denoise than XL. not as high as i want but higher.

>>106825062>The flux controlnet works with chroma can you link the one you usehttps://huggingface.co/lodestones/Chroma/discussions/14>That is because this isn't Flux anymore and does not use the CLIP L which several controlnet implementation expect should be present.makes it seem like comfy needs to add support. it returns an error when i use the apply controlnet node from comfycore

>>1068252382x 3090s but its only using 20GB of vram so you could fit in on one
>>106824853>I thought you previously mentioned getting rid of it entirelyNot entirely. I just started scrutinizing the outputs a lot more because it only takes a handful of slopped images to make the output lean towards that shiny skin look all the new models have. I guess they're very biased in that respect.>How large is the final dataset?Just 50 images. It used to be 150, but the extra images kept bleeding into the outputs, especially the screencaps. They were just too low quality with too much going on in the background for the model to make sense of what all that junk was.

Hang on, what the fuck is inpainting with wan? Why does the fun inpainting default workflow just have a simple first frame last frame setup? Is inpainting not selecting an area to change shit in? It has absolutely nothing to do that with.
>>106825588Use gpedit policies, dingus.
