Is it true Apple slow down after every update? And i should i stop updating it completely?
>>

Or just stop using iPhone 4 and buy a new one like normal people do?

I have 13 pro max

It's a side effect of every update adding more bloat.

No i run ios 26 on an iphone se 2020 and it's as slow as it always were. The only reason normies think updates slows down their phones is because right after the major updates the os reindexes all the files and probably does a bunch of other things that slows down the phone for multiple hours after the update.

this, but apple also did state that they trade off proc speed for battery life as phones get older.

I have iOS 26 on my iPhone 16 and noticed its not as responsive. Sometimes it gets hot for no reason in my pocket. I'd think its cause the screen is on but when I pull out out of my pocket its off.

2 years ago an update completely bricked my iphone 8. Everything was working fine. Updated it and suddenly it can't recognize any sim card, can't update anymore etc.
>>
my iphone 16 still feels snappy

Check your battery health. Apple never stopped slowing iPhones with bad batteries. They just made more transparent to user.

Do you people ever ask yourselves for what the fuck are you updating for in the first place?

Average jeet reading comprehension.

there's literally a settings page now that tells you if the phone has been slowed down due to battery health and you can toggle it on or off
