i cant be arsed to do it on my own, maybe there's already something available.I'd like to extract the secret from my OTP device (producing TOTPs), reason beign I want to generate straight from my keepass instead of having to open my phone and going to the shitty company provided app. Company doesn't provide the secret and I've already checked, the secret is not stored on the device but is stored remotely.I know that I can try bruteforcing it using timestamps/generated codes and on my 32 cores server it might take a couple minutes, but before implementing this shit myself I wanted to know if there's any publicly available tool to conduct such an attack
Reying to have this bookmarked
>>106837280>OTP deviceDo you just mean a device that currently has your secrets? Isn't there just some export function in the app you're using?
>>106837551>actually end up coding it myself>picrel:(no there's no function, its the shitty MS authenticator, it's completely locked down
>>106837611There's no exporting or seeing your secrets? Lol, anyway your best bet would be to request new TOTP secrets from each service separately
>>106837611>it's completely locked downdumb process memory and find the secrets thereany cheat engine fag can do this
>>106839281ps on the otherside, if the app relies on authority and doesnt store in the app then theres nothing you can do besides asking your it fagsnever touched ms auth
>>106837696>>106839281>>106839286I actually double checked and its actually stored on a ondevice sqllite db. But the phone isnt even mine and completely locked down. I'll try with memory dumpers, I can still sideload apps, I'm not sure if checking memory requires root

=== /cyb/ News:Since body modifications is /cyb/:>Reshaping Eyeballs With Electricity, No Lasers Or Cutting Requiredhttps://hackaday.com/2025/10/08/reshaping-eyeballs-with-electricity-no-lasers-or-cutting-required/>As per a new paper, researchers at the University of California, Irvine, came across the idea by accident, having been looking into the moldable nature of living tissues. As it turns out, collagen-based tissues like the cornea hold their structure thanks to the attractions between oppositely-charged subcomponents. These structures can be altered with the right techniques. For example, since these tissues are laden with water, applying electricity can change the pH through electrolyzation, altering the attraction between components of the tissue and making them pliable and reformable. Once the electric potential is taken away, the tissues can be restored to their original pH balance, and the structure will hold firm in its new form.Got to admit, electrolysis of the eye sounds rough.

Can hackers get into hard drives that have been disposed?
>>106841285I'm sure there will be no bad consequences from this, none at all
>>106842199Sure. There are commercial companies that are able to recover most or all of the data from damaged hard drives. You need to destroy (etching or bead blasting) the entire magnetic layer of a hard disk to avoid data recovery.

=== /cyb/ News:Because high end bodymods are /cyb/>Beware the forever 35-year-old facehttps://archive.is/QLYae>I was talking to a fiftysomething designer backstage in Paris this week when I became increasingly distracted by two chipmunk-like swellings in his cheeks. Was he storing nuts in there to see him through the winter? Or had he succumbed to the trend for dermal filler, a shot of hyaluronic acid that is injected to enhance one’s cheekbone and, apparently, improve the symmetry of one’s face.>Last year was all about the somewhat furtive use of semaglutides that has seen so many people shrink. That early shame has now given way to widespread usage, where everyone is microdosing to shed those extra pounds. Lots of my peers are now far smaller than they were previously: there is “no excuse” for carrying extra weight.>Facial surgery is now endemic, in fashion, on the red carpet and on social media, and despite what the surgeons say about this golden period, a lot of it looks quite insane. The chipmunk cheek is just one story. The forever forehead is another thing. Blepharoplasty, coined by Karl Ferdinand von Gräfe in 1818, involves an eyelid reconstruction that claims to give one the appearance of youth and more “alertness” via the removal of eye bags and, ew, any drooping skin. Described as being minimally invasive (recovery time is about two to three weeks) the procedure is particularly popular with the young social media crowd. There has been a surge in uptake among millennials: after breast augmentation and reduction it’s now the third most popular cosmetic surgery in the UK.>Lip enhancement is now so ubiquitous on social media that it’s become a high-street fix: a 2019 poll of the Vice UK Snapchat audience (kids primarily in their teens and early twenties) revealed that more than half of 51,000 respondents said they viewed such procedures “as comparable to getting a haircut or manicure”.Societal decay, Roaman style, marches on.
Anyone here seen TRON Ares yet? Reviews so far seem desperate in attempting to sound intellectual.
>>106855886No but it seems to have been shit. Honestly never cared much for Tron anyway
True cyberpunk died with Kevin Mitnick. All netsec fags are pussies nowadays too focused on their cute little certificates to do any real hacking.

>>106857782Rust as any chad does alongside my trusty programming socks
>>106858044I have been to a few. Tokyo doesn't smell much and has /cyb/ credentials in spades. Hong Kong is /cyb/ in a different way, super busy 24/7, but the smell is more of the greenery. The only smelly industry is gone and Shenzhen took over that.
>>106858473I expected more grime and pollution, but guess that's nice in a way
Who is the most cyberpunk character ever created? To me its Panam Palmer
>>106858768Japan has a lot of very painful experiences with pollution and would prefer to avoid any more of that:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Minamata_diseaseChina is doing the same mistakes as Japan back in the day and Western intellectuals are dazzled by Chinese claims about environmental regulations. Reality is of course something very different and tailings after processing rare earth elements is simply horrific.London isn't really /cyb/ but has a distinct smell, and not in a good way. A large fraction of the particles in the air comes from deep frying pans, which can explain a lot. Inhaling fat will damage yor lungs and life expectancy in the UK is not good.So a futuristic environmental suit should come with air filters.
>>106858864I love air masks like this

>>106858044All megacities smell bad, too much pollution, little greenery and too many minorities with little hygiene.
>>106858473That's because Tokyo and Shenzen from the 80s and 90s no longer exist. They have been heavily replaced with more touristic and office space based designs. The main problem with Cyberpunk is that it stills draws for inspiration what the 90s was like without forgetting it was 30 years ago.The closest things to those scenarios are the favellas, slums and heavy industrial hubs, AKA places no one wants to live in.

>>106863922>That's because Tokyo and Shenzen from the 80s and 90s no longer exist.I used to work in the Kanto region in the 90s and I cannot remember any bad smell, with the sole exception of Takadanobaba where there was some sewage smell. The only air problem there was the ever present volcanic dust, so fine particle size it ended up everywhere.I went to Shenzhen and Hong Kong around 2010 and was told by people there that Hong Kong was de-industrialized and that industry had moved across the border to Shenzhen. So now people in Hong KOng complained about pollution from Shenzhen.

1. In the scenario of a malicious hardware-level rootkit/backdoor trough secret (CPU/GPU) opcodes/ISA instructions/logic gates what would be some ways to bypass it if possible? Since it's "baked in" into the sillicon, could it be physically, electrically or chemically altered?2. How can someone know which parts of a malicious, CPU, GPU, ISA, etc. are responsible for what? Is there software that can point out which transistors are responsible for executing which instructions?
