In china, their cultural belief is different. They believe FIRMLY in 'you get what you pay for' and this utterly confuses boomers. In china, if you arent willing to pay more for a good product, then you arent just at risk to being cheated... its expected for you to be cheated, almost as if it was some kind of moral obligation in order to punish you for your own greed and hubris. Why? because you are disrespecting the merchant by low balling them.
