Some IEMs are just worth investing in a cable that costs more than the IEM itself to bring out its full potential. For example, the PR2 is just that worth it. You should be using a nice cable with your PR2 instead of the inferior power output of the included cables. When your IEMs are that nice, such an investment is foolproof. After all, cables are 80% of the cost of the IEM.
