The Xbox One and PS4 came out in 2013, so you'll have a decent amount of controllers for each of those in the wild made before the more drift-prone sticks came along, whereas the Xbox Series and PS5 released in 2020 so they're inherently more likely to be buggered from the get-go.

Not sure if my Advent is a Trinitron clone or not in any case, all I know is that it was apparently a cheapo brand even back in the day (seemingly always bundled with DVD players). My set was made in late 2005, which I gather is close to the last hurrah for decent consumer CRTs.
