Or, upgrade to Linux, experience real freedom, and never look back.

i tried ubuntu, shit is horrible to use in general, it crashed on a fresh install on hardware that never crashed with 7, 10 or 11

i went straight back
>>
I switched to Linux three years ago, and never looked back. It was easier than expected, although I used ubuntu here and there on old salvaged laptops from customers as a kid so I've at least had an introduction to it, back during the unity era I think. Anyway, that's what I switched to for a new PC build on bare metal, no windows partition because it was familiar and I'd heard that things had been mostly ironed out. I'd say that's true; I've only ever hit issues when I tried to do something fancy (like install a realtime kernel for audio on the fly) without having a clue about what I was doing. At this point I want to move from ubuntu to debian so that I can be somewhat more up to date on packages and stuff without having to remove snaps every time. people might disagree but I generally like the UI in 22.04, and a long time ago someone sent me a way to get this gnome 3 modification or whatever set up on debian. I was gonna install testing but I heard some anons arguing about it, saying it's really not meant to be used as a rolling release or whatever, but everything else I've heard is anons swear by it
I dunno I'm only replying to this repetitive thread because OP got digits
But I think honestly and shills will attack me for this if they show up, but my favorite part about switching to Linux is the command line and how freeing it is. I'm more into hardware in general and I'm not much of a scripter, but finding scripts online and trying them in a VM or something (which is so fucking nice and easy with QEMU/KVM) can be enlightening. While I've caused a few issues that I had to recover my way out of by being overly confident early on and doing things I knew were questionable, but didn't know why, on bare metal... now it feels like I can solve every problem I have through the terminal, and do things a lot faster in general, especially chaining together repetitive tasks. I dunno, it feels intuitive once you learn the way around the commands.

Nadella needs "real" users for the quarterly reports. At some point, they didn't see windows as a profitable product, just a necessary fee, but then he decided to reuse windows to sell shit users don't want. Offline users are free riders for them

i know this is going to sound stupid but what are the telemetry implications of having my email accounts signed into the main outlook win 10 app but a local account on windows itself? i made sure to set them all to "apps have to ask me to sign in" so it doesn't automatically sign into word, excel that i got off massgrave.

does it mean that when I open up a picture then any of my email accounts are attached to that picture i opened?

just ask it for a command, check the command, maybe cross check on google and run it

Every time with these sort of threads, we get the troons flocking in to tell you abou Linux; as if we've never heard of it. I think the only usecase for linux is to tell other people you use it and to try and groom other users into their "lifestyle".
>>
>>106867320
It's actually not entirely nonsense. The 2014/53/EU directive requires radio equipment to be constructed such that it "supports certain features in order to ensure that software can only be loaded into the radio equipment where the compliance of the combination of the radio equipment and software has been demonstrated." (Art 3.3i)

Where it falls apart is that all of this of course only applies to the radio antenna equipment and its firmware. Not to the entire phone firmware.
