I think Windows 10 extended security updates program is one big deception
It’s a small carrot and a MASSIVE stick.

> get you to sign-in with a Microsoft account
> secretly converts your Windows 10 local account to an online account

> when the 1-year ESU is over, the switch to Windows 11 is made easier as Microsoft already has you signed-in to an online account
> whilst you are running Windows 10 for 1 extended year, they harvest data non-stop

Clippy will not forgive, Clippy will not forget
I wish I could swap a Linux distro, sadly most of my games do not work without hiccups.
>>
why do we need 70000 threads about this?

>I wish I could switch to linux to ditch these shitty practices and surveillance
>but muh games!
exactly what I'd expect a /g/tard to say.

The only one worth playing that you can't play on Linux is Battlefield 6

99.9% of games work on linux now because of steam/proton. Hell with lutris/wine you can play an insane amount of non steam games too.

So... You can run it on Linux? Or are you just making fun of the fact that I want to play it?
>>
>>106866344
All immutable distros are ass outside of being used on a dedicated, single purpose gaming handheld.
If for some reason Bazzite specifically interests you just install Fedora.

He's just making excuses. It's not really about the 0.1% of games the developers have specifically designed not to work.

>You can run it on Linux?
Hopefully no
>Or are you just making fun of the fact that I want to play it?
Yes
>>
>>106866252
anon you're better off just making a switch to macOS/Linux at this point

It's the only relevant things happening in tech right now
