I know 3Dnow! was pretty much DOA, but is something like MMX still used by compilers or is it completely deprecated by SSE and newer extensions?

>>106875310I'm pretty sure OpenGL drivers used it. Recall that hardware T&L wasn't a thing yet, so the CPU had to do a lot of the transformation work that 3dnow excels at.
