>youtube stops working>update ublock origin>youtube works againthank you ublock origin
>>106882838I still have the issue that videos take forever to load with ublockIs there any solution for this yet?
>>106882966don't watch videos that aren't worth a slight wait
>>106882971my adhd ridden brain requires instant dopamine
>twitch starts injecting ads directly into streams>add a custom userscript to ublock>no more ads on twitch
>>106882966Use Russian VPN, no ads in Russia.
>>106883017Please enlighten me, I need this
>>106882966I only get this issue for a few seconds if i open up a video in a new tab without letting it load first instead of navigating videos on the same tab, then it'll load instantly. Still better than seeing ads throughout the video though.
>>106883045Unironically people hide that shit because the moment Twitch sniffs it out, they are on it and fixing it within a day.
>>106883045If you need it then you should figure out how to create it yourself. What the other anon said is true, share it around and it won't work for anyone.
>>106883017>don't watch other people play video games>never see a twitch ad It's shrimple
>>106882966That's just Google occasionally purposely injecting a few seconds of additional waiting time to goad you into disabling your ad-blocker.They literally have a helpful prompt they force into your face occasionally as well, with things to do "if Youtube loads slow."They tried the forceful way before, threatening to ban you if you used an ad-blocker and found that - surprise surprise, generally people don't take well to being threatened like that, and instead will double down against the measures deployed. So now they're trying the "friendly" way where they advise you on how to "fix a problem" (that they themselves intentionally created in the first place).
>>106882838I don't know what I would do without it
>>106882966stop using web browsers for youtubenot a problem with my youtube client
>>106882966enable experimental filters
>>106882838just checked and Jdownloader still works
>>106882984No you don't. Start a digital detox journey.Do an entire day without technology.Do stuff like cleaning the house, doing the laundry, go out for a walk, visit your relatives, have a night with your friends, it's easy, I've done it many times.
>>106883017it doesn't work, all it does it maximize the 240p video that plays in the corner to the player.
>>106882838you are doing it wrong.you should never manually update filters. that means no new update for 5 days.https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock/releases/tag/1.54.0>IMPORTANT: To benefit the much shorter update period enabled by differential updates, you must let uBO auto-update the filter lists. Forcing a manual update will prevent differential updates until the next time a list auto-update.
>>106892813Using the adguard extra script on tampermonkey works better.
