ITS HAPPENING 4CHAN IS GETTING BLOCKED
>>
>>106886278
does anyone give a shit about the UK? it's basically a third world country at this point. this is the same impact as being fined and blocked by somalia.
>>
in just 150 years the uk went from conquering half the world to being scared of mean words on the internet. grim
>>
>>106886278
>Indians and Muslims blocked from access this site in 60 days
nothing of value was lost
>>
>>106886278
10 bucks says it'll be a dns-only block in which case itll do fuck-all
>>
>>106886278
Isn't 4chan behind cloudflare? So IP blocks will have hillarious consequences. They will pussy out and use DNS blocks i bet.
>>
>>106886278
The UK has the right to do that as a sovereign country and I as a citizen of the different sovereign country have no right to disagree with it as it is not my country. But if my country did that, I'd be pissed.
>>
oh noooooo
dont do that....
>>
>>106886314
Yep and yep.
I'm hoping they try to ip block it; it'd be hilarious. But we all know it'll be dns only.
>>
>>106886278
No, we're being freed of bongs. There's a difference.
>>
>>106886322
>muh sovereignty
this is like arguing that you have free will so it's perfectly normal and acceptable to put on a dress and lipstick and get fucked up the ass by men.
>>
>>106886314
they could send a single short email to cloudflare and 4chan would be left pants down within 24h.
>>
Goodbye bongs you will be missed even if chuds won't admit it
>>
>>106886278
>>Indians and Muslims blocked from access this site in 60 days

The absolute fucking state of bongland.
>>
>>106886285
This. Sadly they're a lost cause.
>>
>>106886348
No, it isn't. What you are describing is libertarianism. What I am describing is a multipolar world order.
The former is against all government authority. The latter is against government having jurisdictions outside of their land, but having the freedom to be as authoritarian as they want within their borders.
>>

Cloudflare has historically been pretty decent about stuff like this and they do not immediately fold.

That being said, it would be hilarious if UK make Cloudflare or other CDNs/Network Providers somehow liable. That would cause an almost instant global block of the UK because the legal risks would be insane.

God, please let the lawyers in the UK destroy their country, it would be so funny.

I feel sorry for you guys, but this is coming to the EU as well. It's coming to all of Europe, the only reason the UK is worse off right now is actually because it's no longer part of the EU and doesn't need to get anything through the slower-than-shit-through-a-funnel bureaucratic bullshit that is the EU. But it's coming, eventually it's coming.

None of this was about loli, 100% of it was about mean words on the internet. Most of which were about migrants in the UK (who are a protected class of which badmouthing can land you multiple months in jail)

4chan wouldn't budge and neither would Wikipedia (it's getting blocked soon, too) or kiwifarms, and in fact most social media sites are countersuing the UK. So the results are going to be hilarious since hate speech is objectively protected speech thanks to the 1A.

I don't hate Bongs but I do recognize that when it comes to shitposting, them and australians are at the very top of the ladder of making this site miserable.

It doesn't help that every single unfree initiative that is being pushed in the western world right now got its start in Bongland. Seriously, name the human rights violation, the testing ground for its widespread deployment has been the UK every single time. Yet, when you tell bongs of this, they're more than happy to tell you about how this is done for their safety and "only a NONCE would care about that".

They used this excuse of stiff upper lip to justify schools that look like prisons, cameras on every street corner, having to show a loicence to walk down the street, being arrested because of people looking inside your windows and seeing things you're doing in your home, getting arrested over innocuous facebook and twitter posts, letting migrants get 10+ convictions with no jail-time but serving 5+ years if you own a butter knife. Each and every one of them had bongs on this site RACING to tell us about how this was necessary and why the world was uncivilized and barbaric for not following lockstep with them.

That said, this isn't their fault. It's only their fault for not stopping it sooner when the first pieces were being put into place, and I expect this house of cards to fall sooner rather than later because its unsustainable. You can't have a government that spends all of its resources on red tape and fills all of its jails with non-violent offenders. Eventually, all of the decent people who pay taxes will be arrested for protesting their petty government and the migrants who pay nothing will take the country over.

I truly hope they take whatever is left of their country back.

In this case it probably will as the UK will just say 4chan is in contravention of the law has not complied and as such will just order ISPs to block the site which wouldn't be an issue if it was any other site, but seeing as you need to buy a goypass to post with a VPN it basically means most brits won't be able to post unless you use a smaller ISP that doesn't get mandated to block it.
>>
>>106888666
CDNs are regional. you can block IP dresses on the CDNs side. You can't possibly block website which uses CDN without blocking whole bunch other services.

Trump can only politically force UK to uncensor some websites however every country has the right to censor "illegal" websites.

ofcom already contacted cf about "captcha over VPN" thing and got positive response.
>>
>>106888814
>If people were able to post using TOR without some kind of ID, 4chan would be nothing but CP.
No but the bans 4chan has over VPNs are nonsense.

You could have an IP token system in place like (THE OTHER SITE) and (THE SNOYJAK SITE) where you visit a 'third party' (wink) website with your real IP, and then submit for an 'IP Token'. Which is a hash that matches your IP and Canvas ID. You then take that ID, paste it into your login on the site, and you can post over Tor like normal. These other sites do it, and it works perfectly fine other than the fact that IP addresses are disposable anyway and you can easily find 1000+ extra ones to shit up 4chan with.

No, you get the 4chan pass. Which I guess is the only way to get paid when you do it for free.
>>
>>106888910
>ofcom already contacted cf about "captcha over VPN" thing and got positive response.
that doesn't mean anything. Cloudflare will say whatever it takes to keep their UK operation running. A VPN can't tell where you're located, and neither can the captcha if you're using a remotely sane browser that doesn't leak shit like your geolocation.
>>
>>106888883
Also, every brit complaining about American culture is some migrant with a chip on their shoulder for the country that bombed the crap out of their former home.
>>
>>106888910
>You can't possibly block website which uses CDN without blocking whole bunch other services.
That's why they're a bunch of pussies who are trying 4chan as a trial run. They originally started this with Kiwifarms and Wikipedia but they're aware that if they fuck up, they're going to take a bunch of sites down. Also Kiwifarms doesn't give a shit since they run their own CDN, now.

They can't block things like aws or azure. Cloudflare has been shown to be willing to work with them, and that's why they're starting with 4chan.
>>
>>106888910
>Trump can only politically force UK to uncensor some websites however every country has the right to censor "illegal" websites.
Trump could make a phone call and end this charade tomorrow. He doesn't, because he wants to see how it goes so he can have a go at it in this country.

Anybody who thought he was on anyone's side is a loser. He would bend to the brits in a second if they built a gold statue to him.
>>

That is what I said, bong.

Scots are cool though.
Anyway, regardless as you say, I agree that it concerns us all.

100% this. The UK is just going to be the scapegoat for why the internet has to censor itself and force real ID on EVERYBODY. Youtube is already doing it.
They're hoping little wins like this are feathers in their cap to justify to big sites why they need to comply, and I'm hoping Ofcom gets hit with so many lawsuits that end up being billed to the UK government that the whole thing is shut down. They still haven't replied to 4chan's court summons, which means the court trial will happen in the US. Which Ofcom is cooked if they show up for.

>Preston Byrne, managing partner of the US law firm Byrne & Storm P.C., announced his intention to file a US federal lawsuit against Ofcom “to protect all Americans from UK censorship”. This has since escalated as Ofcom opened an investigation into 4chan on 10 June 2025, for i) failing to respond to information requests; ii) failing to keep risk assessment records; and iii) non-compliance with duties under the OSA.
There's now an entire law firm dedicated to protecting Americans against the Online Safety Act.

hope they win. If they opened a gofundme, I'd donate except they're probably going to make bank already since the UK can't ignore a federal challenge in US courts. The UK Needs the US to function.

things are more nuanced
neither are brits the only people on the net
neither should you communicate reprehensible shit on the web
but if you need to, if you want to be untraceable
then you use someone elses network
and then your untraceability is as untraceable as youre accessing said network
if you use your neighbors network youre invisible on the net and youre only as visible as your neighbor can catch you with
its not a silver bullet but you change the plane into something you can be the one in control of

sometimes its as easy as hacking the neighbors wifi with aircrack bc hes still got a wep 1 key
sometimes its just using the wifi from the starbucks down the road
but theres more to consider. like cameras and such
phone tracing
theres reasons for "craft" in "fieldcraft"

Then post the white paper.
Post the physical evidence from the people who designed it saying "This is compromised and this is publicly known for a long time".

Oh you can't? Then it doesn't exist, it's gaslighting by glowniggers to make you not care about hiding yourself. The white paper on Tor proves mathematically that it would take an absurd amount of resources and compromised nodes to compromise it.

It's kind of fascinating watching a first world country suddenly and instantly become a third-world shithole. This is what indulgent, self-hating liberal bullshit does to a nation.

Have fun with shariah law and a completely stifled flow of information so you won't even HEAR about your people being raped anymore. I guess that's... a KIND of solution.

(since retards insist on going with the zogduke spam)
if the uk government just labeled 4jeet a porn site, and demanded that it would require visitors to provide personal identification. zogduke would fully approve, because that would be the logically consistent position to take for him.
wait what i'm saying! logically consistent?! lmao.
ofcom is not a part of the uk government btw. not that zogduke looked it up and was tripped by the subtlety of its position, or that his retarded audience are expecting accurately reported facts from (((him))).
now that i think about it, i don't think he spammed his pro id-for-porn-site-visitors videos here.
that's your "freedom" hero lol

Why is the British government wasting taxpayers money on trying to block websites instead of focusing on blocking asylums seekers, which is what voters want?

Grim but expected.

Reminder you're eating propaganda from a Jew who is an Israhelli nationalist, refuses to move to his ethnostate that gentiles built for him, calls you a child killer if you like free software, calls you a child rapist if you think the age of consent should be below 25 and calls you a Nazi if you don't let him use your company to promote his ethnostate.

A long time ago, to try to catapult his own career, Lunduke tried to ruin Stallman's life. This was over a decade before others started doing it.

He had this weird video podcast called "Linux Action Show" where he portrayed himself as a free software supporter and educator, except all he did was attack free software.

In one episode, Stallman said what he has always said for decades. That proprietary developers will have to find a new job if freedom wins.

Lunduke (a proprietary dev) only pretends to like freedom. He doesn't know what freedom is. The only thing he knows about it is that it's "open source".

That's why Lunduke was so vividly furious when he found out what Stallman said.

Instead of arguing against Stallman's statement, he spent the rest of the interview and in the next videos digging up Stallman's posts about age of consent and claiming that Stallman hates children and wants to starve children to death because children can't survive without proprietary work.

Let them ban it, and X. they will anyway, fine paid, or no.
They’re already on the record for a UK government replacement for Twitter, so it will be banned too.

This is the country where they drive around with vans to detect if you have a TV and you have to pay a “TV Tax” or the put up posters around the area saying that someone isn’t paying their TV Tax in this area to encourage vigilante violence against the accused TV tax evader.

What an absolutely dystopian society.

Wrong, empires don’t “naturally decline”
They decline if you fuck up with poor decisions.
Also Nero wasn’t even in rome when it was burning and when he heard of what had happened he immediately converted his personal properties into refugee shelters.

whatever they're doing, it's not DNS-level. using alternative DNS servers doesn't bypass it, nor does forcing DNS through HTTPS. whatever you do with your DNS settings, the ISP sends you a fake 403 response and redirects to a notice that the site has been blocked.

why the fuck do you think. the purpose is control. they don't care about all this shit that you're worried about. they're focused on total control of everything british citizens can do. it's not limited to britain, watch the rest of europe follow, because this is the political ideology of europe. what you're watching is the process of it being implemented and made permanent.

why? pointing it out happening in one country doesn't mean i support it in another? why are you so fucking retarded, or is your online personality about roleplaying your country? grow the fuck up nigger.
>>
>>106892141
uk is the single country, great britain is the island but uk, britain and great britain can all be used to refer to the country. england is one of the constituant kingdoms in the united kingdom but it is the biggest and most populous and powerful so it was often synonomous with the country as well.

it's like america and the united states of america. one is technically the continent but it's still used to refer to one of the countries on the continent.
