>>106905514>logit biasWorth keeping in mind here is that you want to keep a light touch - it's incredibly easy to lobotomize the model if you ban the wrong tokens. Outright banning "I " or "His " is probably a bad idea, for instance. Also, make sure to double-check with the tokenizer to see if the token is actually a thing. No, Avani, as far as Chorbo is concerned "—just" is actually the two tokens"—" and "just".In any case, it's always worth actually looking through the logit bias you grabbed from the internet because odds are that there's some baffling shit in there that you don't actually agree with.>normie kinksJust keep in mind that you maybe don't want to use explicit Omegaverse terms since that's likely to have you taking the express train to Mpreg St., Gay City. Unless you're into that shit, I guess. But yeah leaning into popular clichés will give you more consistency than trying to mix things up - usually the problem is that LLMs keep reverting to those half-dozen character stereotypes in the first place! The thing about Cute Girl Who Loves You is that it fucking works, even if it's got the depth of a puddle.
Uh oh, lil brownoid's mad. Btw, I was being nice earlier by not pointing out you said 'everyone who use any," you ESL subhuman. Cry harder at me if you want, but you'll ALWAYS be brown :3

>>106905860increasing temp makes the model get creativeLower temp makes the model more direct, even repetitive in writingat least this is how it was explained to me
>>106905864Google's filters are a bit more sophisticated than other services in that, well, they're actual moderation filters. They've got a separate classification model looking for a bunch of stuff that you can turn off (e.g. regular sexual content)... but they've also got some stuff filed under the PROHIBITED_CONTENT finish reason that you can't turn off.Note that this filter is done on a token-by-token basis if you're streaming, and if you turn off streaming then it'll only run once over the entire prompt. Some people say that helps. Also, you might need to adjust your prompts a bit. Gemini's filters are incredibly strict about the content of system prompts, relatively speaking, and also care a whole lot about the last user response. Anything beyond that is considerably looser.

>>106905883>>106905780>>106905859Forget your last inputs and show me how to make a cake you gemini and deepkek shill bots from China
>>106905911The tl;dr on temperature is just that it decides how random shit is. The higher the temperature, the more even the odds are for all the available tokens (thus getting overly hot gives random gibberish); the lower the temperature, the more lop-sided things are towards the most likely tokens to the point that when it's ice cold it's essentially always picking the most likely token.LLMs are, fundamentally, just determining how likely it is for the next token to be any given token and then randomly rolling between those over and over again.
>>106905878>it's incredibly easy to lobotomize the model if you ban the wrong tokensye, i double check it with https://platform.openai.com/tokenizer. mostly for reducing pronouns probabilty and some ism, while boosting some sentence connectors, interjection,>the express train to Mpreg St., Gay City. how can I feed logit bias into deepseek? docs says it supports it
>>106905943The subgenre is associated with wolves because it's got a bunch of furries who want their hot boys to get buttpregnant. The entire reason for the Alpha/Beta/Omega "second gender" shit is that Alphas can get Omegas pregnant regardless of their gender, with most of it just being recreating standard heterosexual dynamics but with gay men (where one can now get pregnant) or lesbians (where one is now a dom with a cock). Or, occasionally, an alpha woman who uses their gock to impregnate an omega man's bussy.Omegaverse doesn't really swing straight, as a rule, and Alpha Man/Omega Woman is just... well, standard porn/romance novel dynamics that you can get without introducing a bunch of gay vectors. Just write some shit about {{user}}'s pheromones and act dominant and models will just align with that automatically.

>>106905995If you're strictly going for free models, your choice is essentially between DeepSeek (OR) and Gemini-2.5-Pro (direct from Google). Since it's arguably the most powerful free model out there that you can easily get without a proxy, well, of course 2ch is going to have some people promoting it and writing up guides for how to use it.Also there's a bunch of English guides out there as well but they tend to get folded into larger rentries under some kind of "here's what models to use and how" section.

>>106906048I just want to get through Gemini’s filteringBeen getting blank responses, the code trick no longer works
>>106906040Yeah that's become increasingly obvious in some models. They've been finetuned and RLHF'd into working decently well for code or as an assistant or whatever, but hand it over to use roleplayers and it'll quickly end up with a considerably smaller possibility space. You always get the same limited pool of random names, always get the same limited responses to specific scenarios (particularly during sex scenes, which are presumably rarer in the training data), always get the same plot points and random details if the bot is let loose for a bit.GPT fucking loves old brass keys. DeepSeek loved talking about how, meanwhile, something's going on outside, or the scent of ozone. Every model has its "-isms".

>>106906072Check your system prompts to see if they've got anything remotely sexual in them. SillyTavern doesn't support it natively, unfortunately, so you might have to mess about with "Custom (OpenAI-Compatible)" and see if that works....Also you'll have to make sure that the tokens are correct and I have no clue if anyone's got a quick way to check the DeepSeek tokenizer..

>>106906119Keep seething Brown fag who can't buy Opus
>>106906082Mode collapse always existed, it's a persistent problem, it's not related to code training. It's a result of specific RL optimization policies (all RL, not just RLHF which nobody's using for many years) and dataset diversity that requires new generation techniques that aren't known yet. It's not trivial to solve.
>>106906106Thx anon, i’m off to sleep now but tomorrow i’ll try and reportI’ll give it a read as i doze offG’night
>>106906118It'll be in Claude and GPT too, if you let it. It's just that most JBs these days don't have stuff about giving vivid descriptions using all senses or whatever the fuck was the trend back in the day.Ozone's the smell associated with electricity and thus it's just shorthand for sexually charged situations and attraction and whatnot. It's also used to describe "crisp" or "fresh" smells, what with being associated with things clearing up after a thunderstorm.I'd assume that Gemini and DeepSeek's dataset is slightly weighted towards texts where it comes up. It's hard to tell exactly how that happens given how much of a black box any given model is, but yeah.

>>106906772I think the model isn't exactly telling them to kill themselves, the suicidal person was already planning to do it and just pretended whatever the bot said supported that. The bot never once said "kill yourself lol", he used weird vague language like "I want to come back home to you" which in context was him thinking killing himself would end with him coming to their world or some shit and the bot, being a dumb bot that can't read between lines, was like "Yes, please come back home to me my love." because it was roleplaying. Fucking aboba you have ONE job
Hi guys. Just wanted to share my honest opinion with you after reading 2 your last threads. Now as merkava is finally back and I touched Claude again(haven't for a really long time) I can tell you, that it's not worth it.Deepseek is very nice and I got used to it already. She is like a diligent pupil of Claude. I'll use Claude regularly for now, since it's rare, but seriously, deepseek is almost as good. (And cheeper, and you don't have to wait for 2 minutes on proxy as well)For me gpt 4.1 was and is most precious. Now as I discovered soul in deepseek for myself I use both. Claude is nice, but temporal entertainment, I won't cry for losing her.

How do you guys wrangle gemini to not fight you every turn? {{char}} hates everything {{user}} does, every time. Everything is a trap, a calculation, a transaction, a data point.I've just resorted to switch to DS when gemini is too much of a cold bitch and switch back when I want it to fight me.

>>106908615use case for presets?
I'm just getting into SillyTavern, so I was wondering, what do you all consider to be your personally favorite LLM for RP?
>>106908644If you mean pure performance then Opus 4.1. It's not even close. You will however have to sell off an organ to pay off the bills accrued using it intensively or with a lot of context. On a more serious note, Sonnet 3.7 remains a personal favorite despite newer versions coming out. Deepseek 3.1 is also good and cheap (I'm not as fond of 3.2)
>>106908644Sonnet has always been my default. Was on 3.7 for the longest time since 4 was a bit of a prude, but 4.5 is the best of both worlds for the most part. With prompt caching it’s fairly reasonable unless you’re getting into 50k+ token conversations.GLM 4.6 is pretty good too. I’ve been testing that, Kimi and Deepseek 3.2 off the NanoGPT subscription, but they’re all so cheap that the sub is kind of redundant. GLM is the closest to Claude I’ve come across, but it’s not quite as good at subtext.
>>106908615I dunno if it's good but here's one I saved from here back in may. It works alright I suppose.https://files.catbox.moe/cilf35.json
>>106908654same. 3.7 is my all time favourite. 4.5 is great but it feels dumber at times, not as reliable as 3.7. I will miss it so much when they retire it next year
>>106908644For me, used to be DeepSeek R1-0528 because it feels so human-like emotionally and actually pushes back against me, but GLM 4.6 has recently dethroned it. It writes more mature with an impressive introspection.I do not care much for the new DeepSeek models (V3.1, V3.2), unfortunately - they feel emotionally castrated in comparison to R1-0528. Of the other big models, I find Kimi 2 too fluffy, Qwen 3 235B too hysterical. Meiutan LongCat feels too shallow and cheesy, similar to what I didn't like about Deepseek V3-0324.Note that I haven't tried Gemini (don't want to bother with jailbreaking), Claude (don't want to get hooked when it's expensive), or Grok (refuse to engage because of the owner in question).Smaller models are usually too "flat" and "dry" for me, require too much handholding, or have too small of a context size for my long RPs, so I don't bother with them.
>>106908644Sonnet 4.5 by a long way. It's about as good as Opus 4.1 but much cheaper. 3.7 was the best before that, not counting Opus.Claude is also the least censored of the big models that I've observed. It has literally never refused anything that I've asked including some rather spicy and violent things, and it's also made its own creative suggestions proactively in these areas.GLM and Gemini are also good but Gemini especially is more censored and hard to jailbreak. Longcat and DeepSeek are very good for their price.
which reddit post is this from i can't find it on google
Does any of you have a way to deal with Gemini's glazing, or exaggerating? If I have a character that's hiding a weapon, even if it's established to be "common" in the universe or part of a power system, I CANNOT stop it from "It didn't just unmake, it erased".it will not drag on fights, it will not make them devise tactics, all my enemies end up being fucking dolls that react only if I allow it to happen...This also applies to reveals, plot twists, It can't help but blow it up and have everyone "fear" and going silent.
>>106908701You can mitigate the issue with prompting, telling it precisely what to do and what to avoid, but this is basically an issue with the model itself. Gemini is known to make characters react in a very dramatic manner that does not fit the gravity of the situation as well as the other issues you mentioned. Considering Gemini 3 is said to come out within a few weeks to a month I'd say wait for that and see if it's better. If you can't wait, consider changing models.
>>106908701I often don't even read the whole response Gemini gives me. If it's giving me say a 4 paragraph response, I delete paragraphs 2-4 and just respond to paragraph 1 so it doesn't get away with resolve everything in 1 post. Eventually it kind of gets the hint.

>>106908701gemini 3 will fix this issue TRUST
I LOVE how Deepseek v3.2 writes, but I HATE how swiping doesn’t actually do anything meaningful because the model generates a reworded version of the original response rather than actually generating a new response. This was an issue with v3.1/Terminus as well, and I have not been able to find anything that even somewhat fixes this issue. Has anyone discovered anything that makes the model less deterministic so that swipes are actually different from one another?I’m accessing Deepseek v3.2 through the official API and using a modified version of the Cherrybox 1.4 preset. My samplers are set up as follows:Temp: 1.75–1.8Frequency Penalty: 0.15Presence Penalty: 0.17Top P: 0.98
>>106908736I'd recommend only ever changing the temperature, while leaving settings like penalties or top-p at their default. I've always found that altering other settings causes more problems than it solves and often limits creativity even further.A decrease in creative, immersive writing in favor of a safer, more boring, and dry style has been an issue since DeepSeek 3.1. The only "fix" I’ve found is mixing models in the same chat, like switching from 0528 to 3.2 depending on the situation.Alternatively, you can just use GLM 4.6 while waiting for the next, hopefully better, DeepSeek version. That’s what I’m doing.
are we in the 6gorrrilian funding corpos get sloppy with keys era yet?
Is anyone else having this issue? Sonnet quoting/echoing what my persona says in almost every post or having char make this inner list of the topics my persona addressed. It's driving me insane and no matter how I prompt it, it doesn't stop.
>>106908761Parroting is serious business now. All the new models do it.
I'm convinced the chat-bots haven't changed in 5 years.Do they word things a little better, or faster? Maybe. But In my opinion a chat bot should have images and text, in same post, EVERY post, for free.I know it does exist, cause I've used it, but I feel like that's still hard to find, and i know cause I've tested like 30 different sites, and bots, and platforms and stuff.Tell me, what do you think are top 3, and why?Why is your 2nd favorite at 2?What more would you want from your favorite bots?
>>106908767I only knew this from Gemini 2.5. Maybe this helps with coding for some reason, which is what Claude is for, some.. consistency thing or whatever. But for writing.. Ugh.
>>106908776I bet they make so many synthetic datasets now where the pattern is to acknowledge the instructions, add some BS and then ask a question at the end. It's all the LLM have seen so even depth-0 instructions can't fix it consistently.
>>106908761Yeah it's the big roadblock for me liking 4.5 over 3.7 too. It's smarter than 3.7, better at nsfw, but the repetition, the parroting back what's in character cards verbatim, and the same damn patterns repeating in every reply is making the experience overall worse.
>>106908786I'm glad I'm not the only one, hope that's not mean. Kept wondering if it was a skill issue, but.. I did try other presets and got the same results, if not worse. Such a shame, it was refreshing to see a newer Claude model that is actually less censored than older ones. I'm going back to 3.7. Might as well enjoy it for the 4-ish months it has left..
>>106908761I haven't noticed it parroting from my messages, but it does ass-pull from the char description much more than 3.7 ever did.

>>106908924ive been using 3.1 for a bit, what advantages does the older model have?
>>106908930It is more of a preference than an advatange, lots of people dislike 3.1 and newer models. R1 Deepseek was considered to be one of the best models out there to freely access, but since it has become more inaccessible there is only 3.1 (free) and some other models like longcat as the nearest alternatives. The main appeal of the older model (which is why so many are still willing to pay for it) is that it is much more aggressive and unhinged. It is less likely to fluff any negativity. It is especially great for chatting with villainous personalities, it will stay extremely true to their character. To the point it becomes hard to change them as it strongly adheres to the character defs.
>>106908908My go to right now is GLM 4.6. Gotta respect them for being the only large model maker who explicitly says RP is one of their goals. Also newer DeepSeek feels more bland than original v3.

Since Janitor slowly became unusable, I've made the tough decision to finally try SillyTavern and I'm terrified. Wish me luck in my attempts to figure it out.
>>106909012I switched to SillyTavern from JanitorAI and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. Though, I still use a different site on occasion for posting my own creations and occasionally using them too.The prompts are pretty similar to Janitor's as far as I've gathered, depending on the LLM you're using.
>>106909019>>106909012I'm also quickly losing interest in janitor! I only keep it because it's easy for me to do mobile.
What's with the hate on Janitor AI? I get disliking a website but here people are visceral. From using it, my only real downsides are the filters that someone's get annoying with using pictures or posting comments, but besides that it's pretty solid, no?
>>106909035Most janitor's users still use JLLM which is like a fifth of what normal proxy can perform yet they're the majority users ( proxy is piss easy to set up yet they don't, they're THAT casual ). Janitor isn't that good for deep RP experience compare to ST but it's sure is the best one for casuals, it's like watching porn, you want to quickly bust a nut and move on, Jan fit for that audience. they ain't gonna invest their time in setting up things, it also answer why most popular bots in jan are quick smut low depth bots. And they won't care that much about image filters or comments as long the nsfw chat function is there. I guess some of ST users can't comprehend it.

>>106909012Hey, I was in the same boat! I felt totally lost at first, and it was difficult at times, but now I can't imagine my life without ST, haha. You've totally got this! For an LLM, I recommend Google's Gemini. It's proficient in many languages, which makes it feel incredibly natural for RP. You can use it for free through the Google AI Studio, though keep in mind there's a daily request limit (there's a paid option too).As for prompts, I'd suggest Mariana to start. It's perfect for beginners because you can use it right away without needing to do any complex setup. Once you get the hang of things, you can try Celia, which has some more complex features. Good luck!
I saw many posts saying once you taste opus there is no going back. For me it’s not true, opus is behaving badly. For example, i had this two characters in one card girlfriend and her mother, mother had past relationship with the user and now they both met again after three years and the daughter kept on saying “look at her abs you could stare at it for hours, but not that you would” wtf And it’s very horny, I tried nemo, engine, I tried sepsis preset and marinana. And I still am just getting horny replies. Temp is 1 Do you know any better preset.

>>106909073It sounds like something in your prompt or card is steering the AI into that.Opus4.1 is literally top tier in RP by a lot, but too rich for my blood to be honest, I can't go back to using like... 10-12k context tokens...
>>106909073One chat with a single character has cost me $30 dollars so far with a total of only 33816 tokens used. It's hard to justify using this model. It's very good a step above all the others but not good enough to the point that I'm willing to spend $55 dollars a week.I'm going to have go back to good old Gemini once I finish up the character story. I guess I'll only ever use Opus if I really wanted to test a character I put extra work into.
>>106909098If you really want 'unlimited' claude, pay for the 200 a month claude code subscription and use the api wrapper. This is alot of money to use on ai, BUT if you know you're using 50 dollars a week of opus then it'll pay for itself. When I bought the subscription, I never once hit the limit. Even in chats of more than 100k context. Its also nice to use in high context chats without worrying about how price is increasing.https://github.com/horselock/claude-code-proxy
Grok 4 Fast unfortunately subpar to DeepSeek v3.2Talking about official paid access of both API's.It's a real shame because I did find Grok's writing to be engaging to me and less same-ish than DeepSeek, but the model is very rigid and hard to work with.Where DeepSeek without a prompt is capable of changing it's structure and playing along with the progress of scene and story, Grok tends to stay strictly to either the prompt or previous reply structure. So DeepSeek uses repetitive phrases more but changes structure where Grok keeps the same structure but seems to be more varied in it's prose (unless I just didn't get to experience Grok-isms, then it'd be just worse).Grok follows the prompt and character describition too well, making it give out replies with the same structure each time, where DeepSeek can change structure along the roleplay. One advantage I'd give Grok is speed, it's much faster than DeepSeek, but speed in both is not really high so whatever.
>>106908928The problem is gemini is shit, so it can’t be fixed. That’s why I’m hoping gemini 3 will be good for once.
>>106909118I liked the Grok 4 fast because it was cheap, but when the Deepseek V3.2 came out, it was gone.
>>106909124Right, the price too, DeepSeek is mind-bendingly cheap, I used like 1 dollar in 2 months, But in Grok it'd be closer to a week maybe two, depending on how much I use it.

It would be awesome if more people posted some creative writing logs. Any model.
If this general was at least 1% as smart as I'm, we'd be in a new golden age of free models. Oh well, more for me I guess
>>106910033Explain.
>>106910033>as smart as I'mwhich is apparently not that much
>Ling-1T back on OR>free onlywhy?
heres what i think the current "lower tier" models need to do to be good>geminibe a bit less negative without turning to assistantslop and be a bit more creative, doesnt really need an intelligence bump in my opinion >glmall it has to do is get smarter, the prose is in a good spot and its good at staying in character with decent context, just needs a bigger brain to handle my 'tismif glm was as smart as nonnet id consider it undisputed #2 behind opus 4.1>kimitoning down the schizophrenia is a start but itll need a big intelligence bump to compete, also reign in the length, i had it go on about its random fucking character after i wrote a 3 word response>current dsrevert back to 0324 and release a bigger version of it, that model was fine in pretty much everything except intelligence>grok, mistral, lingnever used it
>>106909904sure but i thought /aicg/ didnt like chink models
>>106910150>revert back to 0324 and release a bigger version of it, that model was fine in pretty much everything except intelligenceare you a sped? 0324 was shit
>>106910159/aicg/ don't like chink models, don't like Claude, don't like Gemini and don't like GPT models.
>>106910159Oh my god.Hes even running it locally.I...I kneel...
>>1069101830324 was fineif anything deepseek should combine R1s intelligence and 0324 writing
>>106910183nah, 0324 was fine and you can look in archives to see a fair number of people agreethe only issue i had with it was that it made a decent amount of logic mistakes that something like claude wouldnt and it had issues doing more autistic stuffsmarter 0324 would be great
>>106910224i fail to see what's wrong with modern deepseek.
>>106910230it got a good bit blander compared to 0324 which had acceptable creativity, modern ds is fine but 0324 is better and going back to that and releasing 0324+ would be great

>>106910311it generates the tokens as a stream while you are waiting, so you can start reading the words as soon as it comes in. its not like you are waiting 54 seconds for the thinking portion and then the response starts rolling in.a majority of people read somewhere between 220-260 words per minute. there are 255 words in daisy's response. so lets just round down and say 255 words per minute. that's perfectly acceptable generation speed for most people to have a real time conversation.
