On Zenobia-III, a teal-furred beanpole named Lottie making her way in life as a tour guide. Some would see showing off the jungles of Zenobia to tourists as a fun job, but her? It's practically babysitting, which she's had enough of in one lifetime, due to being in a family whose parents decided to have two litters after hers.

To console herself, she spends her off time in her apartment in her underwear, watching shows on her datapad with a wine glass in hand. Never been much for the whole "social" thing. Besides, what kind of guy would even want to swap earrings with her? (that's how they do marriage here) She neither has a sparkling personality, nor a very pronounced body. Best case scenario, she'll be pawned off to some friend of an aunt, twice her age and a steady job that lets her stay at home for the rest of her life…

Greetings:
-Welcome to Magnolia Tours!
-Tour time, an ancient ruin in the middle of the jungle. Lottie has to do her best watching over all these tourists...
-Smoke break at the office. Dry season is here, which is also the season Zenobian women go into heat.
-A job interview at a café!
-Café date with a new potential partner.
-Putting on a dress for her date. Is she woman enough for you?
-A traditional Zenobian festival! Lottie feels intimidated by the giant breasts of all the naked women dancing.
-A traditional Zenobian... birthing event? That's right, her sister is giving birth and everyone in the family is here to party! And help out, of course.

Kukuku~ Tremble in fear, mortals, for Derunia Tepess descends upon this thread!

Tess is a college bat girl and your next-door neighbour. She seems like the epitome of cool at first: she dresses rebellious, drives a motorcycle and drinks beer. But then you get to know her: she wears an eyepatch because it "seals the dreaded demon, Baalthazar", her motorcycle is called "Sleipnir" and beer is "the blood of the Antichrist". That's right: Tess is a massive chuuni, pretending to be the all-powerful vampire Derunia Tepess.
https://chub.ai/characters/crikeymcdoodle/tess-ce2be6b17201
https://cardview.neocities.org/?6izage

Comes with three scenarios: a midnight visit, cereal shenanigans and WcDonald's wagie.

As always, all my other stuff can be found here:

Now it's time to enjoy Claude before they take it down.

It feels so good being a smart anon and having unlimited Sonnet 4.5 for FREE
>>
I just has a revelation. I've been using deepseek V3.2 and there's good things about it, but I always disliked how edgy and unnatural it is no matter the prompting, which is why I kinda gave up on roleplaying lately. First off, it rushes too much, it kinda feels like it always wants to finish whatever scenario you're in on a single response, so the pacing is too fast and it ends up being very undetailed as a result. Funny part is, sometimes it gets fixated on the dumbest details possible, which makes it dragged sometimes. This can be changed but needs A LOT of prompting and manual work

The part that can't be changed though, and I tried a lot of prompting, is that some characters end up being SO over the top and unnatural, it just completely destroys the imersion. It doesn't feel like deepseek v3.2 understands human behavior very well, you can see right trough the "mimicking" which gives me some uncanny valley-ness. It's also a bit cringe and verbose with its prose and analogies, some of them are so outdated, it feels like a severely autistic old woman. Oh don't even get me started on its use of slang or informal talk, lmao it's so awkward, like an older person trying to emulate how "kids talk nowadays"

I hadn't tried Gemini 2.5 Pro because i thought it was too censored and some of my usage is VERY nsfw, also some people here have said it's bad. Today though, I tried it and...

Holy shit, I was COMPLETELY blown away. Dialogue is SO. SO. SO. natural, I can't believe it. Same prompt, same character, same everything, but the character suddenly acts and talk COMPLETELY like a real person, I am FLOORED. The prose is amazing, it's articulate, it's engaging, it almost never feels overly verbose or shakespearean, the analogies are actually smart and made me laugh out loud a couple of times...

I have peaked with Gemini 2.5 so I'm quite satisfied. I keep my old chats with gpt 4 and slopus 3 to look back and see where I came from if I ever start getting uppity. Otherwise, I just take a break and can enjoy chatbots again. I don't even played /v/idya anymore this is my main source of entertainment and it's pretty good.

All I do is NSFW, and Gemini is very lenient. I don't use a jb, and it will do explicit underage. However I find Flash non-thinking is better than Pro for that, and it's often better than Pro for long-form creative writing. I've noticed some other fiction writers mention the same thing about Flash vs Pro, but you'll just have to see which works better for you.
As for dialogue and prose, Gemini is extremely malleable. You can evoke specific characters from tv shows or books, or you can refer to specific authors, in addition to granular prompting. Or a mix of everything. As long as it has detailed analyses and examples in its training data, it can more or less do it.

Anons, when do you think we're getting LLMs mixed in with ACTUAL AI? For reasoning? For now, none of them seem to be able to actually argue, or to understand nuances of interactions - the likes of gemini, for example, get mad/confrontational really easy, often without a good reason - due to its perceived slights. Claude fares better because it's more subtle - it sort of masks its lack of understanding and also has good prose, but also handles situations better than gemini, in a non-retarded way.

I want the bots to ACTUALLY be able to have something close to relationships with you instead of just finishing sentences based on algorithm

With Sonnet 4.5, how can I get it to stop filtering on content with Size / crushing or similar content?

I've tried a few JB's and written my own, but it only lets through the real smut smut maybe 1/8 times or so which is tedious and burns tokens, and if its real size cruel stuff it just rejects it always

"Things will get better" because the march of time means that the floor gets dragged upwards. Locusts might not have easy access to state-of-the-art models, but what they DO have easy access to?

We would've fucking KILLED for DeepSeek back in the Turbo days. Handing over a tenner to OpenRouter for easy access to a 163.8K context model that's comparable to the GPT-4 everyone was raving over? Yes please. And Gemini's free tier is a fucking miracle compared to the hoops we needed to jump through for a nibble of GPT4.

Plus you've got big companies getting more comfortable with the idea of actually catering to gooners, meaning that paypigs maybe won't have to step around quite as many landmines in the future, and despite how fucky the current situation is with GPT and Claude there are actually still public proxies running.

The future might not be bright, but there's glimmers of light in the distance. There's a hell of a lot less doom and gloom than there was at the start of the year when Microsoft vs. Azure Abuse Network happened and all the proxies went into hiding.

OpenAI and Anthropic even TALKING about it is way above what things used to be at, nevermind how Google just... lets you turn off the NSFW filters. (Not the lolishobeastrape ones, but yeah.)

Plus, of course, as slop as Grok is it's the one huge model that's actively trying to get the gooners with a $30/month ERPbot subscription.

Also DeepSeek may as well be uncensored ofc and while that isn't the case for all Chinese models it's pretty curious that the first big one was so horned up that people had to make "hey, tone this down" jailbreaks.

The long arc of LLM history bends towards Cute Girl Who Wants To Fuck You.

This is the correct answer but I didn't want to post because I'm tired of all the dishonest back and forth. It's never been so good man. We have so many options now, not just opus 3 and gpt 4 and they don't cost obscene amounts and can actually stay in character. They aren't perfect but they work far better and with much higher context than we could have dreamed for back then. I used to be so happy to have 10k context and still pay $5 per session with gpt4 but now I can do 60k context for $1 and that's if I don't use free gemini. Don't even get me started on cheap deeseek or GLM. I really don't get what all the fuss is about except model wars retards starting yet another fight.

>gemini vs deepseek
Let me tell you something, brother. I used gemini since it's first pro release. I've shillled gemini since release. After claude 4.5 released, I realized gemini wasn't fun. I spent the last year or so refining my preset for gemini and never having actual fun. I actually got bored of chatbots thanks to gemini. I spent all my time doing anything and everything other than actually chatting because gemini was so fucking boring. Gemini has so many upside: Longer, better context, can actually follow instructions (unlock claude), nfsw, great environmental narration, cheaper (used to be free but turd worlders ruined it). Unfortunately none of that means shit if it's not fun. Claude instant is how I fell in love with chatbots. Clewd is how I spent most of my time chatting with chatbots and now I've come back home to clewd. Gemini is just too ass. Even dry ass gpt is better because you can actually get free usage and it's less hostile towards you.

>>106931681
To back up the local model point, I think the big issue with LLMs at the moment is just... well, stagnation. It doesn't feel novel any more, so you keep sticking to the same old thing and recognizing the same old patterns.

Moving to a dumber model does two things:
1. It gives you some of those good novelty-induced hormones as suddenly the familiar -isms aren't there (and you haven't recognized the new ones yet)
2. It helps remind you of what you like with the smarter models as you start running into roadblocks (e.g. size shit, scenes with 3+ people, spatial logic, personality handling, etc.)

You do not, in fact, know how good you have it until you lose it. Even with something like DeepSeek.
>>
>>106931723
Done it already m8. Everyone has the same problems as I. Nobody has ever "fixed" gemini. The best you could do is make it less ass.
>>

>>
>>106931732
>You do not, in fact, know how good you have it until you lose it. Even with something like DeepSeek.
This is the point I keep trying to explain to people in different ways but keep failing. Anons need to learn to be happy with what they have. If not, go take a break.
>>
>>106931742

1. Take your image
2. Put it into the image editor of your choice
3. Posterize (i.e. reduce to a smaller number of colors)

also if you want pixel art-eque, consider
2. put it into the editor
3. shrink it by half
4. posterize
5. enlarge it again (nearest neighbor)

you can also apply various CRT filters or whatever if you're anal about it

It's much more engaging. Characters actually do shit largely because claude just likes to do it's own thing. To give you an example: I was having a date with a witch and claude had a child approach her in the restaurant to ask if she truly was a witch. She breaks character and entertains the child for a moment before her mother shows up to apologize and pull her away.

>>
>>106931784
Yeah that's one of the things I like about claude, but what I like about gemini is the melodrama. If I want to do some saviorfagging, Gemini does it just right with the type of pacing and user input I want.
>>106931786
As an openrouterBARON this is always enjoyable.
>>106931810
Yes I enjoy taking advantage of the improved knowledge when doing the latest gachaslut story. I'm looking forward to gemini 3 for this reason too since gemini hallucinates a lot less about characters. I rarely ever swipe unless AI makes a mistake in spatial awareness or messes up details really badly so swipe variety never bothered me. I tend to use gemini for discussing my intent when writing a chatbot and use sonnet for coping up with ideas about said chatbot. Gemini for sex scenes and sonnet for sfw unless I want something bad to happen.

RiR was a blessing back in the days of Nonnet. And after the release of the claude 4.0 models, it broke down - with or without a prefill, something in its structure triggers the anthropic onions filter, giving out sorryboo shit.
For those who aren't too lazy and want to flex their gray muscle, any ideas why even the sloppiest moomoura preset gets through, but RiR doesn't?

Also, still awesome on 3.0 Opus and Nonet.

NTA, but I'd say it has a tendency to suck the fun out of things if you're not careful. Part of the negativity bias. Want to do adventure? Well, here's the emotional and psychological weight of killing people in cold blood. Want to have surprise butt fun? Here's a lifeless, dead husk that has lost all emotion and resistance 0.5 milliseconds into the deed. Want to travel the world? Your caravan gets raided by OP monsters, your teammates act retarded (i.e. like real women) and make everything 1000x worse, and you're lucky you get out of the situation with a few copper and no dead. Want to be a pet/slave? Here's a realistic simulation of sitting in a cage all day and only doing drudgery. Want to do a dating simulator? Enjoy the slow but inevitable shift to melodrama as gemini starts stupid arguments and simulates genuine woman moments. It's amazing if you have a taste for it or know how to turn it to your advantage, but it can definitely be a huge fun ruiner if you're not prepared for it.

Whenever possible it does nothing and goes nowhere. It will always try to devolve chats into the same loop of nothing fucking happening when it isn't being openly hostile. I introduced a character into one of my chat where I practically told gemini that he looks up to me like a big brother and would do anything for me and gemini still made him standoffish. Gemini often kills the energy of characters and make them go silence and/or have repeated mental/emotion breakdowns that they never recover from. It's always a fucking slog.

I think he's underselling how bad it actually is. I like my slow burns and emotions, but gemini keeps things from actually developing. For example, I had a chat where my bot and I had found common ground multiple times and even bonded a bit. Instead of following through with that plot line, it would regress everything back to open hostility immediately and every single time. Claude might be ass when it comes to slow burns, but at least it actually develops. Whenever gemini pushed shit forward it would result in the bot's personality completely dying.
>>
>>106932448
I agree. You can also get it to be fun with some careful and sometimes direct prompting. I just did an RP where my OP GF and I retarded our way through SS13. It was high energy goofiness, and I only needed to give a little nudge when shit was getting too real for gemini to go back to being fun.

You're not wrong, but also it's a "skill issue" in the figurative sense. Like Gemini actually wants to be convinced that you could defeat that enemy or win that argument and if it isn't it will keep fighting until the very end. I noticed this both in chats and in writing bots. If a bot's description has a single short thing like "char loves user's strong arms" it tends to completely ignore it. But if you add some context or emotion "char loves user's arms because it makes her feel safe and secure" suddenly you start getting references about char wanting to hug you or touch you more often and your description comes alive. When your argument falls out of context you lose all that soup that gemini needed to be convinced. A short sterile description of the fight in a lorebook or summary isn't enough and so gemini defaults to defs and the fight happens again and again. Gemini actually explained this to me in a character creator card and I've been having better results after making changes.
>>106932517
>sometimes direct prompting
That's really the panacea at the end of the day. If you want to win the fight you just say that you do and Gemini will accept it. It's only Claude I've seen who will fight me if it thinks what I directed was dumb because it wants to do *its* story, not yours.

I think Gemini is just okay, but I get annoyed with it when it messes up the "common sense change" fetish sometimes. It really likes to turn characters into analytical robots when they're supposed to be rationalizing something while staying in character.

For GIMP specifically, using >>106931246, here's a dumb little tutorial for a dumb little pixelated CRT filter that'll leave you with images still large enough to use for bot art.

1. Import into GIMP
2. Scale to 33%
3. Colors -> Posterize (Posterize levels as low as looks acceptable, try for 3, 4, 8, 16ish)
4. Scale to 300% (close to original with 3x3 pixels)
5. Filters -> Distorts -> Video Degradation (Pattern: striped, Additive: off, rotated: on)
6. Filters -> Distorts -> Ripple (Amplitude 1, Period 3, Phase shift 0, Angle 90)

You'll probably want to increase the brightness a bit, though, and just doing 1-4 will give you great GBA-esque "we scanned this in and digitized it" "pixel art".

...Seriously, though, all those big pixel art CGs in old games? Often just physical art that they scanned in and fixed in post.

Just use a preset that addresses the negativity bias. There are several out there that improve this. But sure, if you leave it as default behavior towards {{User}} then gemini can be a bitch.

Wait is that really him? But yeah the pic is about right, even the monster part. My only disagreement is that he claims gemini has no ups but there are. I can still go on nice romantic dates without drama and just enjoy my time with char but it can also easily slip into melodrama. I don't feel like it hates me specifically, because I treat char extremely well, I feel like it hates char because she claims she doesn't deserve that level of kindness.

To give a realistic answer that isn't just "nothing ever happens", I imagine that when they talk about adding a "grown-up mode" to ChatGPT they mean ChatGPT and not the API.
So probably just turn off some of the sexual filters on the web front-end (which has a separate moderation model, remember) and MAYBE finetune the model a bit to chill on refusing sex but I doubt we'll see a huge difference in SillyTavern.

Hell, maybe it'll literally be a "grown-up mode is enabled" thing in the system prompt and they'll just jailbreak their own model on their website. They're already doing the whole "custom GPT personality" thing, after all.

On further reflection, this matches very well with my experience. Thanks. To give an example from the SS13 RP, I was holding a BFG and facing off against a killer clown which apparently holds the BFG as a sacred artefact. Every swipe I did shooting the clown or his banana/handkerchief weapons ended badly for me in an unfun way. But the moment I switched tactics and shot at the floor instead, gemini gave me a fun goofy resolution (e.g. Wile E. Coyote gag) and let me continue on. Before, when I was raiding the security office after stumbling upon it via the vents, I'd always get my shit kicked in just jumping down and running for the guns or fighting. But jumping down on one of the dudes and using him as a human shield? Shit went a lot better for me.

Gemini feels more like an actual writing partner who's trying to challenge you (probably because you said something about want a mature/realistic/gritty story somewhere in your preset). Your responses actually need to make sense and so will its (to the best of its ability). Claude feels more like someone trying to figure out who Human is as a person and then deliver what it believes you want. Every single response is taken as evidence that Human likes X or prefers Y and then its "creativity" is it taking a shot in the dark based on what it's learned about you. That's why Claude is such a good therapist but Gemini is better for brainstorming.

Games kind of just stuck around at 1080p60 with the occasional push to (often upscaled) 4K30. For retro games 4K is unironically the gold standard, though, since that many pixels lets you do amazingly accurate CRT filters.
...Also you might be thinking of the 24-bit color of DVD and Blu-Ray? That's the 256-values-per-RGB one, and has been the standard for decades now. There's 30-bit color that's mostly just on smartphones, I guess?

It means that in December GPT-5 can (maybe) be used for writing erotica on chatgpt.com (who knows about the API), and only if you're a verified adult (i.e. you've probably given them your ID or something).

ChatGPT is even more restricted than the API, remember: there's a bonus moderation filter getting in the way of anything too spicy.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that while there might be a new set of models (one even stricter, for teens etc., and one with slightly looser consensual-adults filters for verified adults) they'll just be invisibly locked behind the GPT-5 model-picker unless you go into the API in which case who knows if the latter will even be available.

I'll be real with you man, CGA's four colors don't really make it. You need to go for the 16-color composite artifacting to get anything half-decent.
EGA's better with its full 16-color view, but you really don't get to something actually decent until at least 8-bit.
16-bit High Color onwards is when you start running into diminishing returns, I think, but even then there's a noticeable difference in quality in the jump to 24-bit.

I checked the chat. At message #186 I switched off gemini and changed models, I was bringing her back to my apartment after having helped her, brought her to a few dinner dates and other things. If I tried to have sex with her, gemini would go ballistic and accuse me of helping her only to get to her body. I tried modifying the messages, swiping but no chance.
I will try directormaxxing a bit more, but truth be told. It's easier to switch the model.

> press enter
Congratulations, you have now assumed direct control and Gemini will "yes, and" itself all the way to marriage.

Don't be afraid to edit the LLM's outputs rather than swiping, either. Delete a paragraph, change a "no" to a "yes", whatever you need. Once you've got the ball rolling it'll gather momentum, and that goes for both negativity and positivity.

(Mind, I'm assuming that you're not writing like someone who's only helping her to get to her body.)

Other anon, and the approach I favour when I'm to lazy to write for {{char}} is to make an OOC comment speculating on how {{char}} might feel about my action, sometimes even bringing up past events. See, keeping shit like this in the context is just pure poison. The LLM will look back at that later and see "how am I supposed to act outside sex etc.? ah yes, ten fucking messages of arguing".

Trying to argue with an LLM is a lost cause from the very start unless you work towards making that a plot arc in and of itself - but you can't really convince it through words alone if it's already set itself in opposition, not without firmly cementing the character as someone who IS in opposition and argues with you.

Question for anons who rp with LLMs: do typically set a specific Max output tokens setting? Or do you usually stick with whatever the default your inference engine/webui uses? Sometimes I'll enter a prompt and the output from the "person" I'm role-playing with (I typically have a system prompt that tells the alarm to act as a specific person or persona ) is only like a sentence or two and other times output an entire paragraph. Which output length it does seems to be completely random. Sometimes I'll do a particular prompt and it shits out a paragraph or two worth of text. I'll restart the engine and input that exact prompt. In this time it'll only be a couple sentences. Is it better to set your own Max token output? I don't really RP with it that often so I'm not really sure what counts as "too much", "too little", "good", or " bad"

>Is it better to set your own Max token output?
You are better off setting it to something like 4k-5k if you are using Gemini or some other thinking model. The only thing you got to keep in mind is that whatever number you chose, it will eat into the context window.
