Why did authoritarian luddites start pushing the "computers destroy water" propaganda this year?
>>
>>106932011
It's only a problem in shitholes like the US that literally can't build basic infrastructure like a safe (unleaded) and plenty tapwater.
The power grid and water overuse in some places is problematic in current year... (for the US)
>>
>>106932011
Dayumn does it have bastions?
>>
>>106932011
Unless they've developed water based fission while i wasn't paying attention, you can't really "use" water. You just borrow it.
>>
>>106932011
It's a typical california-brained response. They're so used to having no water that they invent scenarios where other people have the same issue.
>>
>>106932292
>Unless they've developed water based fission
fusion, anon, fusion. two hydrogens per water molecule.
>>
>>106932011
Communist dont like capitalists doing things
>>
>>
>>106932906
you are so confidentially wrong
>>
>>106932975
what is capitalist about the government taking trillions from its citizens and then funneling the money into these scams that literally no one asked for
>>
>>106932292
>>106933430
He's wrong but at the same time splitting up chemical compounds is not "fission", lmao
>>
>>106933469
Which gov is funneling the money AI companies?

The data center is a big project that might go to waste.
>>
>>106932975
>capitalist burger gubmint mad at chinese govt ownership of private companies
>proceeds to copy them and take percentage worth of extortions from silicon valley tech like IntellAviv
keeek
>>
>>106933489
it's decoupling
>>
>>106932975
It's not communists but a certain sect of the population really hates when companies do things physically.
Building actual data centers brings jobs and weath something that only cosmopolitan believe they deserve.
There is nothing more infuriating to them that hillbilly Joe might get a job doing something blue collar because some mega DC opened up in his backyard.
>>
>>106933947
Private companies creating jobs is a threat to communists who want the gov to do it and abolish private companies
>>
>>106933947
>Building actual data centers brings jobs and weath
500 million dollar data center creates 30 new jobs, all of which go to H-1B Indian visa slaves.
>>
>>106933566
when are we going to fix the resource misallocation of growing corn in the desert for biofuel lmao
>>
>>106934022
>>106933947
Except they build them in bumfuck nowhere and import all the labor and make people living there unable to afford it anymore. It's not helping those communities at all. Hillbilly Joe isn't getting a job there.
>>
>>106932011
Yeah, I should definitely support the rights of billionaire technocrat niggers to destroy the water supply so that retards can have basic Google searches answered in the most expensive way possible.
>>
>>106934036
>30 people to build a large ware house, maintain them, do all the permitting work, control all the power, water, waste, produce all the value
Yeah, why would you lie
>>
gAI is the broken window economy
>destroy internet
>now you need a ultra golemslopper to find things (and empower retards)
>way more expensive and impossible to finance with ads only
>impossible to go back even if you create a new curated internet because normies will post AI slop to apparent "smartness"
>>
>>106932292
You know what they mean dumbass, they're pulling huge amounts of potable water from municipal systems. They use it for cooling and they do it because it's cheaper to just keep pulling fresh water than it is to run a cooling loop.
>>
>>106933947
This ain't it, these data centers are fucking up communities with insane noise and toxic fumes, xAI in particular is using gas generators and are smoking out entire cities
>>
>>106934142
It still cracks me up that despite all the smoke & mirrors about wind turbines and solar panels (and molten salt solar generation stations), all the "Yeah That's Cute But We Need Reliable Power To Actually Do Thingsā„¢" data center engineers are just using big fucking diesel engines for backup power instead.
Almost as if all the pro-environmental "green energy" stuff of the past fifty fucking years has all been a big joke.

Assuming the rest of the world does that same as the US is retarded.
>>
>>106932292
But it has to be clean water. That they then dump or evaporate and it has to be filtered again. Water filtration requires space and money.
>>
>>106934060
They do employ lots of locals
DCs aren't just high level techs and management, they are logistics, security, pumbers, electricians, low level maintenance/grounds staff. Even most of the techs are low level enough where anyone could be trained to swap parts.
The Google DC nearby even employs mutiple restaurants worth of people just for the cafeterias and all the break room areas.
>>
>>106934053
Humans have to make sure there's enough food and LLMs secure excess resources too. Some humans invent a policy of burning excess corn and LLMs may have inserted bugs into certain libraries that multiplies traffic or via >>106934108 they ensure survival.
>>
>>106932011
I have never seen an actual person (ie not a screenshot) complain about water use, and hundreds of people "debunking" it.
Probably a psy-op to distract from rising electricity prices.

Caligolems will happily supply all their water to their Israeli overlords.
>>
>>106935174
Golems should drink their boiled piss.
>>
>>106934053
The only reason this happens is because the US government wants to always have enough corn to feed every single american with their fat american diets for 5 years straight while being unable to grow new food.
>>
>>106935174
i friggin love capitalism
>>
>>106935121
Yeah because you don't go outside retard.
>>
>>106932011
They are retarded and will be replaced keeeek. It's normal to be scared (at least for them)
>>
>>106935230
>secret meetings
This isn't capitalism because the market would have shot those two by now. It's a form of cronyism because the only way something like this happens is if somebody in the government makes it happen and allows it to be state enforced. It's because both the government is corrupt and the economy is so locked down that things like this happen. Capitalism requires the absence of government intervention.
>>
>>106932011
> Because it does
> It's also going to bleed toxic chemicals into the entire countries water supply and theyre not going to admit it until it's too late then say they knew about it the whole time but you can't arrest them because it made them money
>>
>>106932292
> Let me just drain your entire water supply and soak a gisnt piece of plastic in it for a month straight
> It will be fine
>>
>>106932292
Do you think rain just goes directly into the pipes? There's a giant funnel somewhere?
>>
>>106936271
>There's a giant funnel somewhere?
Yes, it's called a drainage basin.
>>
>>106932011
It's natura selection. All of Arizona and a large chunk of California should burn for their hubris.

And they will
