I mean, yeah, makes sense. The laptop's screen definitely isn't designed to be a load-bearing structure, to support the weight of extra shit on top. Why would you even do this? Sure you "save space" but it seems to me that always having to lift the monitor to get the laptop in and out would be a massive fucking pain, even if it didn't break its screen.
