Get an index, yeah it's $1,000 but it's also the only VR headset worth getting. If you can't afford to blow the extra cash just don't get VR, it isn't worth it. It's also crazy and insane and completely fucking retarded that the Index is still the best option on the market but it makes sense since it was the only one made with consumer quality in mind rather than pumping something out as fast as possible to sell product.

No Man's Sky is also terrible in both VR and material reality. When I first got my index I played for 9 hours straight without anything but piss breaks and the following night I had the most lucid dream I've ever had in my life and I was wearing the VR headset and had the controllers in my hands, and I was getting them to do Gmod-esque stuff. When I woke up my motor functions were completely fucked up and it was like I had sealegs, and I kept swinging my hand into shit like my body was expecting it to noclip through. Smashed it on the door handle trying to go piss. I researched online and there were a lot of people at one point posting on leddit about "VR dreams" and had an exact experience to mine, fucked up motor functions and all. When I went back to sleep and woke up again it was fine, but people were hypothesizing your brain was trying to subconsciously account for imperceptible lag because the index lenses work a specific way with the human eye to illusion a 3D virtual space as realistic as they could. Did anyone else have something similar? I literally only had it the first time and never again.
