Yeah that's the white man's touch alright
>>
What's the point of cable management?
>>
>>106959772

>>
>>106959772
I'm indian and my cable management is like this
>>
>>106960057
I'm pretty sure you're meant to leave it so loose that you can pull one out and push new back in.
>>
>>106960045
Organised cables generally occupy a bit less space than unorganised, it also looks cleaner, makes systems easier to maintain and if they're external they're less of a trip hazard.

That being said I don't bother with it

nice second job you have there
>>
>>106959772
Nice effort, but not needed when you can buy plastic parts from Aliexpress in the age of 2025.
>>106960045
Easier access when you do hardware changes
>>
>>106960102
Wrong. You can just add another cross tie.
>>
>>106960167
It's clear to me that you're acting retarded so you can bait more replies. But if on the off-chance you're not shitposting I'd suggest visiting a different board if you dislike tinkering. Either way this will be my last reply to you.

Only picrel is somewhat sensible choice. Although cable management is a meme forced by YouTube bloggers like Linus racemixing tips

When you are like me and work a lot in the PCs its definitely worth it. Or you have a mess later when you need to add something.
>>
>>106960200
That bundles them all together, though.
What if you want spacing and flat layout?

The thing that bothers me about cable management is that I never saw a solution in which you can easily add/remove/replace a cable or rearrange cable in any other way without tearing everything down. Once you setup your "cable management" you're stuck with it, any change you got to tear the whole thing down and do it again from scratch.
>>
>>106960292
Undoing one of those bundles to change a cable and doing it up again is still easier than untangling a wire from the left.
>>
>>106960170
>Easier access when you do hardware changes
There is nothing easier about fucking with a bunch of cables that have all been ziptied together.

Why are you comparing an IDF rack of patch panels, switches and UTP cables with a broadcast rack full of coax SDI cabling? KYS

I manage to not see my cables. If I cannot see it, it isn't a problem!
>>
>>106960426
Any time you add hardware. A new screen will have a power cable and likely an hdmi cable.
Cables should be organized and out of the way, but easy to replace

this post reeks of someone who thinks washing your hands is merely an aesthetic choice

Lazy-ass zoomie can't be bothered finding an image. Lazy or can't use Google. Maybe both. Kys
>>
>>106960292
You shouldn't have to replace or move a cable once its installed because once its in place its considered permanent fixture. Adding cable is easy since you wouldn't you be adding to an open panel and not likely fucking with and of that shit.
The funny thing is if you spend too much time keeping your cables organized and running parallel all of those fuckers will fail for crosstalk unless you spring for the shielded cable
>>
>>106961911
Shielding is pretty much non-optional if you're going to run that kind of density. Though yeah idk what you're supposed to do if a crimp comes loose in the center of that bundle.
>>
>>106961624
if you touch your balls your hands won't look dirty, but they'll stink.

how retarded are you?

Just use velcro straps. Cheap, works, infinitely reusable.

clips or clamps solve that problem. You can easily open them and remove the cable in question.
