You can't call Windows 11 "progress".

Same, but trying to get familiar with Mint because soon or late our hardware will die and we'll have to move on.

When will microjeet finally implement a non dogshit file system

Is that actually windows or is it just a linux distro with wine installed?

Bought older hardware, (mobo, cpu, ram) just to run Windows 7. Windblows 11 microdicks lost.

Imagine how super usable Windows 7 is in comparison when you don't have to deal with countless bullshit that is windblows sukdeep 11 microjeets.

Trying to stay on top of relatives' pcs is unbearable. They refuse to switch to Linux but they also complain every time Microsoft force-installs Edge or the new Outlook PWA (rip Mail and Calendar). You can't even set a Powershell script to automatically run to remove them because they change the execution policy.

Feels good to be a 7 King. It just werks.
>>
>>106967172
instructions are basically just clean install windows 11 and then install atlas so i guess it's mostly just a cleanup script

I never thought that I'd have to change OS, but this bullshit has gone too far. I'm staying on 10 and hopping to Linux when I upgrade my CPU.
I'll try to make it look like XP though. Last true white man's OS.

This is the right answer for all winfags anxious about taking the leap. Except if they auto upgrade you to 11 in your sleep. They're very cunning and untrustworthy.
Remember, Linux works on old hardware. You don't have to wait for an upgrade to install Linux. In fact, go find an old piece of shit system for $200 and install Linux on that. If you like it, migrate.

>soon or late our hardware will die and we'll have to move on.
Huh? Windows 7 works with all new CPUs, all motherboards with CSM, DDR5 ram, NVMe, USB3 and GPUs up to RTX 30 series and RX 6000 series.
>soon or late
What, 20 years from now you'll have to use a 3090ti for graphics? The horror.

People are actively working on a kernel update from Windows 7. It's a great time to use it.

I'll be laughing at you guys when the next crowdstrike debacle happens. If any time is ripe for a false flag it would be now, where's that illuminati cyberpandemic we were promised by jewish billionaires telling everyone to eat bugs? During a government shutdown? Why hasn't it happened yet?

>>
>>106967213
>Imagine how super usable Windows 7 is
current gen hardware doesnt have windows 7 compatible drivers. No RX7000+, no RTX4000+, no Intel Arc, no USB 4, no ReBAR because you cant disable CSM with Windows 7, ...
Windows 7 would be awesome if someone backported drivers to it.
>>
Were there obvious shill posters for Windows 8 back in the day or is this a phenomenon exclusive to 11iggers?
>>
>>106969242
If you disable secureboot they "can't" auto update your PC to windows 11 cuz it is "no longer eligible".
However the real answer is just to install Win10 LTSC.
>>
>>106969915

Already switched to Linux. I'm having a blast distro hopping and testing different flavors. Right now I'm leaning more towards Kubuntu or CachyOS. One thing for sure, I won't install windows 11 ever.
>>
>>106969242
Linux doesn't run my collection of portable software, would require me to redo things which take many hours to set up and if one is a newfag the entire process of using Linux feels like a training course.
>>106969915
>Were there obvious shill posters for Windows 8 back in the day
People quietly ran windows 8 when 10 flopped. Personally, I ran 8 since Classic Shell became a thing.
>>

>Trying to stay on top of relatives' pcs is unbearable.
Why would you? Your advice is to install Linux and if they won't take your advice then they've decided to take matters into their own hands because they know better.

This is why you never invest time in non-free software to begin with. One day they just rug you and there's absolutely nothing you can do.

Jeet CEO tricks investors desperate to lose as much money as possible in the AI bubble with false promises of a fully automated GPT-powered Windows experience.
It really doesn't do anything useful. The jeets working for Microsoft are forced to use CoPilot not because management thinks it works but because they want to eventually replace the worker in question with the AI they/them trained.

I'm on Win 11 Pro 25H2, and the only thing I see is an option to choose what happens if you press the "copilot key on your keyboard" (if you have such a key (I don't)).

Diarrhea curry for breakfast thank you come again
And then they have the gall to say "Good morning........"

No. I mean secureboot.
Just turn it off in the bios and MS cannot install windows 11 on your PC.
TPM works too, but for most PCs that isn't easy to just toggle on/off.
