What can realistically be done about this?
Don't let corporations or transtifa get a hold of Ladybird.
>>106969965>ladybirdI'll keep using Firefox
>>106969972a shit browser owned by a bunch of woke advertisers and data brokers. cool, faggot. you do you.
>>106969984Just turn it off. You don't compile your own browser? lol
>>106969989nigger cope
>>106969951The Supreme Court changing its mind and saying that Google actually is an illegal monopoly that needs to divest from Chrome. An actual movement to adopt Firefox, LibreWolf, Pale Moon, and Basilisk instead of Chromium-based browsers. Web developers actually making standards-compliant websites instead of using whatever experimental feature works in Chrome. This does sound like an uphill battle but remember that IE was once at 95% market share which is even higher than that of all Chromium-based browsers right now.
>>106969951Make the blue ball in the firefox logo be a chromium logo
the true redpill is chromium deserves its monopoly, it took it from netscape fair and square, it took it from internet explorer fair and square. empires rise and fall. the web was always monopoly
>>106970023Install Gentoo
>>106970042The illusion of upward mobility and "anyone can become a rich businessman" is what keeps the masses productive. the myth that bill gates was just a nerd programming in his garage and worked hard to succeed is important. people will stop producing if they find out his mom was on the board at ibm and his dad ran planned parenthood, that his success was guaranteed from birth, that normie citizens have a glass ceiling. china doesnt have the illusion of upward mobility which is why they have the lying flat movement.america needs the illusion that anybody can make a successful browser.
>>106970042or if you prefer, the myth that elon musk was just a nerdy poor college kid that got lucky and made paypal, dont mind that his dad owned an emerald mine and his mom was a famous actress/model/whatever
nothing, web is so clusterfuckish it doesnt make sense to use anything but chromium even if it's possible
>>106969951It will sort itself out.
kill firefoxthat will solve the problem
>>106969965obsessed
>>106969951Nothing can be done about it, the web standards spec is both living and huge requiring hundreds of thousands of lines of code. The real solution is for programmers to start using other platforms then the web to deliver their applications to customers. You are literally three ifdefs away from making a cross platform program that can even run on a browser. If the user wants to download the program just stick a big download button on the website version.
This movie is so fucking antisemetic
>>106969951Abandoning conventionTaking risksAccepting bespoke solutionsPermitting lack of scale
>>106969965Do you really think they don't infest and ruin that project too?
>>106969951Get as many people to use Firefox as you can. Mock people for using Chrome or Edge.
>>106969951nothing, because chromium is objectively the best performing and most versatile web engine ever made in the history of internet>inb4 b-but muh data collection ungoogled chromium exists>inb4 b-but muh goo goo gaa gaa dominancethat's on mozilla for focusing too much in spreading political garbage instead of making a good product
>make product>product is successful and companies just use it a ls a base>chuds seetheJust make your own better product you fucking chicom pos
>>106971306which is why it's based and redpilled
>>106971951weak bait, 2/10
Apologize to Internet Explorer
>>106972142rather have a chrom*/blink-monoculture than the steaming pile of shit that was ie/trident

>>106969951Not a damn thing. The reason Chrome got to its current position is because Google can implement some new feature in Chrome and then immediately make it mandatory on Google Search or Youtube. And any other browser that refuses to or can't implement that new feature will be immediately abandoned by its users because everyone uses Google Search and Youtube.Every non-Google browser ends up having to eternally catch up to Chrome just in an effort to maintain even basic compatibility with modern web pages.
>>106972171they write browser in rust to turn users homosexual
>>106969951>What can realistically be done about this?just use firefox.
>>106972171>rustno thanks
>>106969951Normies can use Firefox, people that care can use Librewolf and switch to Ladybird when it is released. Chromium has always been a problem that I watched from the side. Not my problem. I still use the same Librewolf with normal uBlock Origin I always did. Nothing has changed for me.
honestly, the only reason ublock origin still works on firefox is because firefox is not the main mainstream browser anymore.i dont mind
>>106973880>tranniewolfWhy don't you read up on what the Lead Developer says about (You)
