COMMON LIES BEING PERPETRATED BY TROLLS AND SHILLS ITT DEBOONKED 1/2

>RADEON HAS BAD DRIVERS!!!
They have been fine for years and have the same amount of problems that Nvidia drivers have or less. Most problems occur with productivity applications which is why Radeon gpus are not recommended for workstations. If you are just gaming you are unlikely to ever have any issues, especially if you only update to the latest driver when you need to.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-lv4-poQOyo

In contrast for the first few months Blackwell had major driver issues that are only now mostly fixed. Premium day one GeForce buyers that paid the nviditax had a worse early adopter experience than Radeon buyers.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTXoUsdSAnA

>RADEON HAS CPU OVERHEAD!!!!
It does not. Nvidishills likes to spam charts of cherry picked DX 11 games like KCD that do not play well with radeon but in reality if anything Nvidia has a worse overhead in CPU limited scenarios. Screenshot and videos below for proof.
https://imgur.com/a/A5MIHM6

Radeon "CPU Overhead" in Warzone chart that the Nvidishill used to spam debunked: https://imgur.com/a/yy3MZRS

>9000 SERIES MSRP AND SUPPLY WAS A LIE!!!
Nvidia normally supplies over half of the market, this time they made almost no GPU's and AMD despite making a large amount of cards is unable to fufill all of this demand effectively. The result is a low supply high demand market and increased prices. However besides the US which is also impacted by tariffs the 9070 XT in many regions with some effort can be purchased for around 700 dollars or less. The card will likely go back down to MSRP around January next year when the Supers from Nvidia come out to remain competitive.

>FSR4 IS IN NO GAMES!!!
Almost every game that has upscaling can be easily modded with Optiscaler to support FSR4. The result is better than native image quality in games with bad TAA. Cyberpunk 2077 before native support was added could be modded with Optiscaler, the game can run ultra RT at 80-90 fps and 50-60 fps pathtracing with good image quality using FSR4 on quality mode.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNzI-TBV--A
https://github.com/cdozdil/OptiScaler

Native FSR4 integration will get better into the future with many games planned to have support added this year. Because of AMD's collaboration with Sony on Project Amethyst and PSSR it's likely that all future games with a console release will have FSR4 on PC.
https://www.pcgamer.com/hardware/processors/the-amd-x-sony-collab-gave-us-fsr4-and-a-version-will-appear-in-playstation-next-year-too-having-already-started-to-implement-the-new-neural-network-on-ps5-pro/

>WHERE ARE OTHER FEATURES TO MATCH NVIDIA AND WHY IS PT PERFOMANCE WORSE?!?!
FSR Redstone which is coming out before the end of the year should noticeably improve Pathtracing perfomance and match nearly all Nvidia features such as Ray Reconstruction and AI Framegen.
https://videocardz.com/newz/fsr-redstone-on-track-amd-promises-dedicated-presentation

>ZEN 5 IS MELTING ON ASROCK!!!!!!!
There is no conclusive evidence for what the cause is yet. Zen 5 and the 9800X3D in particular have sold very well and most people haven't had any issues. It's possible there was a bad batch of processors and ASRock motherboards have BIOS settings that are worsening the problem, or the fault may entirely be with ASRock, there isn't enough information to make any kind of conclusion yet. For now just avoid ASRock boards to be safe and you will likely be fine like the thousands of other people who have bought and used these CPUs for months with no problem.

If the game supports DLSS or Reflex then by extension it supports FSR4 or Anti Lag 2. Optiscaler proved that both Nvidia and AMD are full of shit.

I have a Gigabyte Z390 motherboard. I noticed that "LEDs in system power on state" doesn't want to stay on. I set it to "on" and save, reboot, and I can see the fans light up, then turn off again by the time the video signal kicks in. And the fan lights stay off until I go to RGBFusion, where I see the fans have been set to "Off". I can set it to, say, "Static" and they'll stay on until next boot.

I don't know if it was the BIOS update or updating to Windows 11, but since this happened before I boot to Windows, probably the former

AMD GPUs are fine. Nvidia relies on software which is better, but whole 5000 generation didn't improve at all since 4000. Both AMD snd Nvidia just sucks more power. When they will need actual efficiency gain we will see. They can't add more power. It's already too much.

>GIGABYTE B850 AORUS ELITE (in white)
>KLEVV BOLT V at 6000MHz (in white)
>ARCTIC FREEZER 36 (in white)
and my CPU of choice is going to be Ryzen 5 7500f, I was thinking of Ryzen 5 7600x at first, but then paying 1.5 times more for only a few improvement is just silly and I'm going to keep my GPU and my power supply.

I intend to change my CPU in 2 months cause I got a bad 14900k and I'm kind of sick of intel at the moment. I was gonna go 9950x3D but now apparently there's gonna be a 9950x3D2 and I'm wondering if I should just get that? I don't actually need it, no one truly does probably, but I have a terminal case of "I always need the best thing". If it's gonna be like $150 more or something then fuck that, its definitely not worth it, but assuming it isn't, should I do it? im using a 9950x3d, its preddy gud, i don't see myself needing anything else for years, it'll handle the multi-tasking with ease, and only a massive HZ and bus-speed efficiency increase would ever affect gaming performance.

If your oxidised 14900k is fucked, and you NEED the best, just get a 9950x3d. Can't go wrong, except with the motherboard you choose. I'm not 100% that a D15 is enough, i prefer my 360mm AIO for my 9950x3d, keeps it icy-cool. But you can always buy that afterwards if your D15 is struggling to keep it cool.

I have 3 fans on it so that it somehow handles the 14900k I have now. For the motherboard I was looking at the Gigabyte X870E, E cause the non-E version costs about the same so might as well and Gigabyte cause that's what I have now and I am very happy with the motherboard itself so unless they makes shitty mobos for AMD specifically, I figured I should be happy with it.

AMD’s 7800X3D and 9800X3D CPUs, priced over $400 USD, are widely marketed as “the best gaming CPUs in the world”. This is demonstrated at low resolutions with a 4090-class GPU, whilst conveniently ignoring 0.1% lows (frame drops). Under cherry-picked cache-bound conditions the X3D chips do excel, but there’s a trade-off: the additional cache results in 6% lower boost clocks and 50% to 80% higher prices than their regular counterparts (9700X and 7700X). As with their Radeon GPUs, AMD is looking to drive demand through advanced marketing rather than delivering real-world performance. While Nvidia has effectively countered AMD’s marketing in the GPU space, Intel's marketers remain asleep (terminally?) at the wheel. Nevertheless, the 13600K and 14600K still deliver almost unparalleled real-world gaming performance for around $200 USD. Spending more on a gaming CPU is often pointless, as games are normally limited by the GPU. Without significant improvements in social media marketing: forums, reddit, youtube etc., Intel now face the very real risk of bankruptcy (third worst-performing S&P500 stock from Jan to Aug 2024). Since this summary was published just two days ago, hundreds of twitter threads, thousands of “pcmasterrace” reddit posts, multiple magazine articles, and several youtube videos have emerged in unanimous support for the $480 USD 9800X3D. All of these supposedly disinterested actors are working the weekend to convince you to pay their favourite billion-dollar brand an extra $280 USD this holiday season.

9950x3d is the best binned silicon AMD has, and the 9950x3d outperforms even 9950x's in multi-tasking scenarios, on top of gaming supremacy. Not sure why your AI botpost was unable to mention that.

>Last month, after months of rumors, TCL confirmed its $4.15 billion investment in the T8 project. The new 8.6G plant will use a novel inkjet printing method to manufacture OLED panels – it is the world's first. With its T8 factory, TCL CSOT is entering into direct competition with LG Display and Samsung Display in the OLED panel market for mid-size devices. These panels are expected to be used in products from TCL and other major brands.

>By using inkjet printing for OLED production, TCL aims to reduce manufacturing costs (by 20% reportedly) while delivering high-performance, high-resolution and energy-efficient RGB OLED panels. The company reiterated that initial production will focus on "high-end displays for tablets, laptops, and monitors". No update was provided on the plans for TV panels. >Mass production is scheduled for 2027.
Will most likely have to wait until 2028 to be able to buy these monitors; the monitors will last around 5 years, according to a TCL engineer (10 years for TVs).

>TCL aims to reduce manufacturing costs (by 20% reportedly)
I don't doubt their margins would love this, but will consumers even see much of a price difference?

In May 2025. You wouldn't be posting that stale shit if you were able to reproduce that crash today.

Do Retardeons have a time machine? So obsessed with old NVIDIA drivers.
>>
>>106973375
If it's TCL yeah. Their entire strategy is based around flooding the market by lowering the price.

If my OS was corrupted due to bad RAM, do I have to do a clean install or can I just clone the drive on a separate computer that it runs on and put that new drive in the PC?
>>
cheapest 5070ti is $845, cheapest 9070xt is $680 or even lower. Need some advice, working with a 1500-1600$ budget and targeting 4k 60 fps.
>>
>>106973547
its its windows you can repair a corrupted OS from the recovery menu or iso. its called a "in-place upgrade". works if its semi broken or totally broken.

if its linux you have to clean install
>>
>>106973560
Buy the cheaper 9070 XT if you can't decide; you obviously don't need the 5070 Ti if you need to ask.

I'm on Rtings looking for a good monitor so I just filtered with the top ratings on these categories. Should I just grab the Alienware for watching anime? Also how come they dont have any good rated screens in 24''
>>
>>106973588
I'm also considering the 1st option as it's only $250 and the Alienware is like $650

rtx ntc coming along nicely. It's going to be nice when the 12gb 5070 (which outsold everything from the last 2 amd gens combined) has 120gb of real vram available.

>>
>>106973560
There are games at 4k that run out of vram on the 9070xt but not the 5070ti

5070 Ti is not a 4k card
Fuck all of you who recommended this piece of shit card
>>
>>106973862
Did you just buy it? If so you should return it and get a 5080, it's only 250 more, might as well if you want decent 4k.
>>
>>106973807
meaning it does not matter what color your shit is if you dont have a fish tank for pc

There is only one 4K gaming GPU at the moment, 5090.
