If you don't have this level of dedication, you're not ready to work in tech.

nigger
>>
All fun and games until a mountain goat thinks you look like a faggot and should fuck off horizontally down the cliffside
>>
This kind of thing is pure theatre, people who behave like this are not more productive.
>>
That doesn't seem like dedication at all. Suboptimal as fuck.

His boss took the picture. He flew up their on a helicopter and yelled from a bullhorn for his employee to get back to work. Employee's are lazy and greedy assholes. A real boss understands that a vacation is no excuse not to code.

In the future, the top of Yosemite will be converted into an internet cafe.

Big show.
All theatrics.
Also, how much steady power does the stupid looking flip flap solar provide?
>>
>>106970441
I'd love to go on a hike to an internet cafe on top of a mountain, the only problem with it is that I don't think it could afford to stay open. I know people like to make fun of people like me but that sounds great.
>>
>>106970482
There's actually cafes in some hiking spots on mountains, it's not entirely unviable.

If I saw this little faggot on his gay computer (and his sissy friend taking pictures of him) in a national park I'd punch his fucking teeth out
>>
>>106970452
Probably like 50 watts max. So yeah it's fine if you're on a 10 year old chromebook. I live on solar and my work laptop plus modem needs probably 50% of the array which would be ~300 watts (so like 6x that size.) It's a little weird that he doesn't have a macbook now that I'm thinking about it.
>>
>>106970272
Not so much dedication, but the autism of not being able to switch off at the end of the day and keep working the problem while you're trying to fall asleep. Bonus points if you find it enjoyable.
>>
>>106970272
I hate this performative coding crap going on at tech twitter
>>
>>106970296
Based mountain goats, keeping their community safe from faggot-looking gays.
>>
>>106970493
yeah you would
>>
>>106970272
Dedication? He spent hours walking out there when he could have been working.
>>
>>106970559
Same. That's the reason I deleted twitter, it's unbearable.

i've never been to san fransico, but is all culture there like this or is it mostly relegated to people from silicon valley? and when i say 'like this' i mean the most cringe shit imaginable.

God damn, why do these kinds of """engineers""" always act so self important when in reality all they do could easily be replaced by random poojeet
>>
>>106970493
uhh, based‽
>>
>>106970296
Absolutely based of them. Keeping their younglings away from the dangerous influence of the faggot OP.

likely he outsourced his job to some jeets from his over inflated income and just relaying those changes while he jerks off to sunsets high and drunk on company time

When did silicon valley culture become so performative? I feel like it wasn't that way before. Covid boom?

>>106970272
What a slave, lol! Can't even enjoy the beauty of nature in your free time without your boss fucking you over… SLAVE!

I read about a ramen shop on a mountain in Japan, the owner carries everything needed for the day up there himself. They're open until they run out of food and then close for the day.

One must imagine the ramen shop owner happy

It’s concentrated in Silicon Valley and SF proper, but there are people like this everywhere. The culture of the East Bay (Oakland, Berkeley, Richmond) isn’t as much like that, although it’s becoming increasingly that way.

It's like these girls making tiktoks about their day at work as an engineer doing "work" for an hour.
