Honest question: Has anybody learnt programming by watching pajeet programming streams?
It seems like being able to create pajeetware is a highly sought after skill in today's job market.

I learn programming with good ol' books, they smell good, I don't have a retard yapping all the time while I try to concentrate and I work at my own pace. Nothing beats books.

99% of programming books are garbage. Anything from 1980-present date is borderline unusable given they are pretty much all through the lens of oop which has proven itself to be a terrible way to write code, so you're having to constantly undo layers and layers of retarded abstractions as you're trying to learn something new.

I am currently learning JavaScript with a book which released late 2024 and it is very good so far but I must say sometimes I have MDN open next to it if the book doesn't explain very well.

You if you're new to programming you don't know what is good and bad yet. Play with shit and form your own opinions. Graduate from that book as soon as you know the basics and just start writing whatever the fuck looks fun to you.

thanks and yeah you're right. I am building a project with all the learned stuff, a small web app like a job tracker so I don't have to write it down in programs like excel or other crap, thought this would be a good idea while learning, it's like a win win situation, I am learning, am coding and am building something that helps me, maybe I can put this project in my resume as well. Everything is hand made so far, from the design in Penpot to the code I have so far
