no one can make browser as good as google.
until today....
OpenAI launched a superintelligent browser.
it's over chromebwos..
how to migrate our bookmarks?
>>
>>106973863
let me guess, it's another Chromium fork.
>>
>>106973863
What the fuck does this have to do with google chrome? Are they developing a new browser engine?
Just because openai shits out marketing every 15 minutes it doesn't mean you have to make a new thread, you retarded fucking goon. Seek a cliff instead, you never need to be here.
Fucking parasite, you're like a walking abortion.

Daily reminder the proliferation of Chome forks has been a long-term Google strategy for nearly a decade in order to finally stop having to fund Firefox without getting hit with antitrust concerns

>Announce a new competitor to google chrome to challenge its monopoly
>Yet ANOTHER chromium wrapper
The retard who tweeted that even asked "What does it matter that it's built on an open source browser?".
Because google built it and when people think of competitors they think of web browsers that have their own engine because otherwise you're not challenging google, you dumbfuck.
>>
>>106973863
>...And that's why we're releasing a web browser based on theirs. Google BTFO. This will totally destroy their monopoly on the web and web standards.

I know, I know. This is marketing, aimed at normies who don't know any of that. I'm sorry.

Do people really still use chrome after they removed ublock?

>web browsers that have their own engine because otherwise you're not challenging google
I mean as someone who occasionally does webdev, I'm glad that there are only like 2 or 3 engines in use.
If something works only in one browser, webdevs usually don't use it.
If a "competitor" tried to make their own engine now, which wouldn't just implement everything exactly the same as the others, then websites would simply not work in that browser.
And if they DID implement everything exactly the same, then they could have just used chromium's engine, no?

I'm sorry but the product I'm selling requires high performance rendering of n-dimensional charts with millions of data points and many other requirements.
I'm not going to put text on a website and call it a day.

What funny is that paying Firefox to be the default search is part of why Google lost an anti-trust case over its web search. Unfortunately the judge in that case (Judge Amit P Mehta, an Obama appointee) basically just slapped Google on the wrist in terms of penalities, instead of doing something meaningful like forcing them to sell of Chrome (which is what the DoJ was pushing for).
