Is AI useful yet?

It's useful but it's not a substitute for a brain yet, which is how it is often sold.
>>
>>106974183
so no?
>>
>>106974136
Yes, I use it at work nearly every day.
It helps to create presentations, visualize data, create reports with impressive formatting etc.
Each task that would require 1-2 hours of work now can be done in 20 minutes.
Saves me a lot of time that I can spend watching YouTube or movies at work.

why do cats like fish? what triggers them specifically?
>>
>>106974696
no claws, no teeth, no spine, no dart i suppose
>>
>>106974136
Yes, but only because of the enshitification of search engines that doesn't even show you the wiki page in the first results anymore. Even fucking google translate was lobotomized.
>>
>>106974923
>LLMs are created by just cutting a translation algorithm in half and letting the other half dangle in the air
>somebody was stupid enough to throw out translate and replace it with a shittier option
usecase?
>>
>>106974696
Fish are slabs of juicy lean protein that are very safe for cats to hunt and very easy to eat and digest.

For porn
For coding
For art
For meme videos
For driving cars
For war

I'm sure there are other useful things as well
>>
>>106974136
non-generative ai have been useful for more than a decade now, generate trash is still utter garbage with 0 usecase
>>
>>106974136
It has replaced Stack Overflow for me.
>>
>>106974136
it's universally despised, except a handful of enthusiasts
companies consider it PR poison and avoid it like the plague
>>
>>106975385
>for porn
porn is free
>for coding
it sucks
>for art
it sucks
>for meme videos
dies after losing novelty status
>for driving cars
it sucks
>for war
it sucks

Skill issue.

basic bitch free ChatGPT is so much better than googling a problem/error and finding a solution
I'm not a computer expert but I'm pretty savvy, chatgpt helped me set up some tricky stuff like python venv for image and video gen stuff
I also used chatgpt to help make scripts that launch the programs in venv with appropriate flags
you can copy/paste your terminal output if you get errors and it can figure it out
tldr, chatgpt knows how to use linux better than me

>Skill issue.
OK, show us your skills, AI man
>>
>>106974183
Ask me how I can tell you're indian
>>
>>106974136
If you work with information/knowledge? Yes.
I can have an army of agents read, classify, filter, and summarize hundreds of papers every day and present them to me.
Without AI, I would have no chance of having such an up-to-date and comprehensive overview. It gives you a huge information advantage over anyone who doesn't use it, by several magnitudes.
Is it worth it? Indispensable for the academic sector. For normal people, AI is not made accessible in this way. For them, there are hotel reservations, cat videos, and an intelligent buddy.
To each his own.

why are you needed then? sounds like you're the weak link in all of this
>>
>>106975575
No. I'd rather watch you bitch and moan in suffering like a tranny faggot you are
>>
>>106975664
What's the point of the question?
I maximize my benefit. It's a capitalist thing. If I take myself out of the equation, it kind of becomes pointless, doesn't it?
>>
>>106975616
I need one to do all of this for my erotic roleplay logs, any suggestions?

profits would be maximized if you were taken out of the equation

Show your billion, master
>>
>>106974136
AI already produces 95% of all code and drives 80% of economic productivity. If that isn't "useful" then nothing is useful. AI is the future.
>>
>>106975742
Other profits, not mine.
It's not that difficult.
>>
>>106975347
fish bones actually bad for cats.
>>
>>106975385
>For porn
AI porn is slop
>>
>>106975797
Like with humans, it's only actually bad for retarded cats. The ones who aren't cognitively deficient can eat fish just fine.
>>
>>106974562
Now all we need to do is prove that most people don't even use their brain.
