You didn't say whether this has to be our personal desktop. I have a bananapi r3 mini running openwrt but i disabled firewall/routing capabilities. I just use it to host a python flask api, web server (php 7), samba server, dns server (adguard home), ldap server, radius server (unused atm), ssl decrypted traffic mirror dump, and a smtp server emulator that acts as a proxy taking valid smtp email requests and converting them into a curl request to hit various flask api hosted endpoints
