People don't use Linux (or as I've recently to calling it, GNU plus Linux) because it doesn't have ease of use like MacOS or Windows. Solution:
-Make a distro copying MacOS ease of use/Apple philosophy
-Tuck away the terminal, only make it necessary for power users

I don't think this already exist, and one of the reason is egos in FOSS community, each distros have to have its own unique twist instead of copying proven OSes.

All desktop oriented distros suck, thats a fact.

They got a bunch of dumb motherfuckers from the unwashed masses on computers, and none of them learned how to use a command line

Computers come with Windows and most people don't even know they can replace it, let alone know how to.
>>
>>106979285
As you already know, most people can't install any OS, and Linux rarely comes pre-installed.

>If Linux is so good... why don't more people use it?
It's made by power users for power users, not apes who can only move pretty icons from one side to the other. An IQ>100 is required for Linux, otherwise you'll be filtered out.

My on-the-go USB flash drive has all the software that I need. I just plug it in and every application just works how I want it, thanks to the .inf file. This flash drive has a multiple boot dvd ISO and get this, it even contains Linux ISO files, to troubleshoot un-bootable systems. It's like the digital version of the swiss army knife. It's just too damn bad that I'm a sub IQ>100 user who prefers simplicity and flexibility over suffering.

>install linooox

>wtf linux has no games
>troonz tell me to use insert some fucking commands into some shit because linoox needs a fake emulator that pretends its not an emulator to emulate windows
>do that gay time wasting retarded shit
>game still doesnt work
>uninstall linux

never again

Troonix is gay nigger faggot shit. For instance if locale is set to en-US.UTF8 the date command will show AM/PM for time but 'ls -l' shows dates in 24 hours. Only a looney trooney would like this.

Use lutris. Easy. If you are not filtered by torrents you shouldn't be filtered by this

Troonix is nice as a backup system for that 2010 laptop you have somewhere(although I would rather use GhostBSD) but installing it on a brand new computer in 2025 is completely insane. Hundreds if not thousands worth of hardware is getting completely wasted.

They aren't truly "normie" oriented. Steve Jobs would have an aneurysm if any of these were MacOS (name ones that come close to MacOS ease of use?) Maybe I am wrong on this tho

My dad uses my old computer, he doesnt know what a linux is, it just werks for him.
Steve Jobs would have an aneurysm cause it doesnt cost one bazillion euros
