what went wrong? it never had the same impact culturally as the 4090 or even the mid 3090.
A $2000 baseline MSRP can do that to you.
Being a glorified 4090 with missing ROPs definitely had the cultural impact of driving off customers to other brands.
>>10698122832GB?come on now.I bought the 4090 at the peak of early AI hypethe value proposition is just not there and nobody should be pretending it was
>>106981228no thanks, I havea physx gpu
>>106981228>be dev>make new game>target mid range to low end GPus from 5 -10 years ago>focus squeezing performance>still looks good>AI and fake frames settingswhy would anyone buy this overproce graphics brick heater?
>>106981228Nvidia was ordered to lobotomize it, to prevent the unwashed masses from using it to fiddle with advanced Machine Learning. It was a good compromise, in retrospective.ML is a weapon between the hands of your average poor.
>>106982932Because goy have been breed in such a way they will release the happy chemicals whenever they spend money.I'm not kidding. The average drone buy that crap just for the pleasure to own it.
>>106981228this card was made only for the biggest retards
>>106981228>culturalITS A COMMODITY PIECE OF PC HARDWARE MEANT TO BE USED AND REPLACEDIDK what's with retards trying to make something as anything more then that. PC hardware is not some long term investment
>>106981228Well the 4090 already existed and they've still sold a lot of 5090sand the 5090s are still going to the folks that really want them ban or no ban lmao>3090 midretard
>>106981228power limit increased 30%performance increased 30%price increased 25%no one care except aifags
>>106983339>>3090 mid>retard3090 sucked mate, it lost all of quadro features that rtx titan had. And if you were buying one of those for gaming idk what to tell you
>>106981228>Niche consumer product>Culturally impactfulPlease go outside once in a while
>>106981228The founders edition was built like it was a crapple product with glue. The only decent card like the ROG one had an insane markup. I was so dumb to think Nvidia would take a loss 4 gamers since they're swimming in cash. Also, the 32 bit physx support requires another card.If you had an EVGA 3090 FTW3 gathering dust and a ROG 4090 too, would you sell both for a 5090?
>>106981228Even fewer people can get it due to cost increase and aisloppers stealing all of them, and the loss of 32 bit physx kills it just as much as its lessers.
>>106983826>Even fewer people can get it due to cost increase and aisloppers stealing all of them, sound like bitcoin boom again, when will we escape this cycle?
