There aren't any "viruses" anymore. All the malicious code that will ever run on your computer will be things you told the computer to run. If the AV trips, you're just going to run the software anyway because false positives are such a normal thing that everything the AV says will be assumed meaningless by then. Plus it's a really outdated concept in general. I don't know what winfags are even doing which requires specific functionality not provided by the OS or software that has lots of other eyes on it in 2025. The weirdest thing I've needed in the last 10 years was a GameCube iso scrubber and even that program had a clear history of legitimacy behind it.
