Is Firefox ESR still the go to?
Kill yourself Kike
Regular Firefox only has 2% market share, a version that is a legacy of the old XUL system has 2% of that again. Just use the regular version.
>>106986871>It's good because it's popular
>>106986871>a version that is a legacy of the old XUL systemesr is not legacy you fucking goober
It's what comes with Debian, so yes.
>>106986824I use windows 7 so yes.
>>106986824yeah. esr version is still only version worth using>>106986871>lies about things she knows nothing about>gets shit onclassic /g/ poster.
Old = GoodNew = Bad
Firefox can be modified to be respectful of your privacy, but is insecure by design. But for Windows, it's the only solution. (Or just use Edge since it's Windows anyway.) Trivalent browser is the only good browser but it's only supported on Secureblue.

>>106988841personally i use supermium version 124 r2 (newer versions run like crap for some reason)
>>106986824You can write and install your own add-ons without having to dealing with Mozilla.(Having to upload to them? Asking them to sign?)

Right near the end of the last ESR's life cycle, I had trouble with it not loading a certain website I frequent.
>>106993876Did you figure out what the issue was?
>>106986824for bomers who want the same shit forever?yeah, don't forget to install windows 7 too
>>106993969No. All I know is when I updated to the next ESR release, the site would load up again.
>>106994964On mac,if you have multiple profiles runnings, and you update from one of the profiles, and you just leave everything running, then things go screwy when trying to open new tabs or websites.Everything starting working properly when you completely quit the old firefox instances, then start the newly upgraded firefox.I've seen this a few times because I usually have lots of tabs open and never like restarting firefox. My guess is the problem you saw might have been something similar.
Maybe I'm behind the times, but I thought Librewolf and Mullvad browser were peak, with ungoogled chromium on standby for sites that don't like gecko
>>106996131I don't think that's it. I'm on Linux, I didn't have any profiles running on it, and I always shut down my browser when I'm not using. If I had to guess, I would probably say that it has something to do with the browser not supporting the sites user verification system because it wouldn't even load that when I tried accessing it. It worked on Brave and Librewolf though.
>>106996331ThisStill works for me just fine.
