Windows 98 sure looks appealing but no one misses the 3mins long booting time, the 2mins long game loading time etc. WMP sure was cool in Win7 but no one misses fucking codecs and shit. Most forums and blogsites died because they were slow and dead. Aero and y2k are style phenomenons. It's also not just about tech anymore but trends.
