What was being a computer nerd like in 2003, the year I was born? What were you doing at my age, what was the culture like? Could you go back without any significant impact to your lifestyle? I only have bits and pieces from my interaction with books, office places, schools, early YouTube videos, old forum sites, and whatever hardware I still had left over and the memories of learning how to use it. But since the last few years (since 2020 especially) that memory has started to fade along with all those old sites and videos on the internet. I fear what little memory I had of that world after 10 years of incessant noise will soon be lost forever.

We'd goon for hours to 30 second clips and slow loading image galleries full of viruses and malware. And then we'd cum. More then you kids today. In our day we came more. Ask your mom and grandma about it.
>>106988578Let's see, 2003, FFXI just came out on the PC and I dropped out from school due to MMO addiction. Prior to that it was mostly CS SC or WC3 LAN parties, usually in school before/after classes. There were no 4chan or YouTube or Facebook so people were still using IRC to talk to strangers before adding them on AIM or MSN. You download your music/movies/porn/viruses from IRC or Limewire for the normies and then you'd play them on winamp or that bloated piece of shit called vlc, unless they were ipod users then they'd be using QuickTime instead. Oh and ignore all the XP shills, even after SP1 came out it was still meh and 2k was superior.
