Every time I watch a video where someone using a Windows PC is dealing with virtual machines, they all either have VirtualBox or (rarely) VMware. Why don't people just use the one that comes with Windows? I tried it out today on LTSC and it works fine, even got a FreeBSD test system working.
it kinda sucks. virtualbox sucks too. I think vmware is the least crappy out of these
It couldn't do UEFI for the longest time and with software people tend to hold grudges. There are a couple other things that VirtualBox makes easy that HyperV makes hard but I don't really remember what they are it's been too long since I've needed to use a VM.

I tried Qemu and VirtualBox and Hyper-V and Hyper-V ran the best on my system. Then I realized I could give a fuck less about Linux until "day of the desktop" and uninstalled the feature from my Windows machine.
