Thats assuming the tile is 32 pixels
Now check this out say you want to select 4 times you multiply the whole thing by 4 then.
So
Mouse.x=tile.x*32*amount

I'm not using gamemaker. I'm trying to make an engine, not use an existing one.

Right now I'm struggling with how to make a tilemap and draw it to screen. I can already do sprites and animations, I just can't figure out to assign tiles to a grid in memory, then draw the correct tile at the correct location based on that list of tiles in memory.
