I've been using gallery-dl to download most of it in the first place. I don't know if there is a way to download stuff and attatch the tags to the meta data, that's what I did for the images, gifs and videos were a little trickier, still can't get tags in the webm meta data, I'm using the scripts as is for now, when I find a solution I'll replace the videos.If I do switch, maybe I can copy the database from szurubooru to shimmie2? Something else, when I started multithreading to speed up the uploads, it fucked up the order in the pools for some of the comics, I fixed it by making a thread focus on one pool at a time, but I need to figure out how to get szurubooru to rearrange them in the correct order.

AI should be good enough to make tags for you if you can set it up locally any mainstream AI will refuse to do it because it's all censored, maybe chatgpt will do it for you in a few months, but you have to give your ID card to OpenAI to do it. . It is "battle tested" (Some sites use it)AFAIK I've never used any automatic tool tho, I started my stash when I had 10 videos and it grew up organically, so I just tagged them myself, but Shimmie supports the Danbooru API format so It's trivial to do something like that.Also, shimmie is easier to deploy. Just set up a web server with php support and you're done.
