It used to automatically select the dub for me even on English videos but I haven't had any problem with it in months

Seriously? Everybody thought it would free us from the indians' unbearable accent and instead it gives an indian accent to all languages?
Well, knowing that the dev were probably indians themselves, it makes sense in the end.

In the dubbed videos I watched the dub is surprisingly good and doesn't sound indian at all (I still hate it ofc). Maybe they're doing more A/B testing with different dub accents.
It would actually be a great idea if YT started auto dubbing videos from Indians to proper English
