I may bluff my way into 2 remote jobs related to QA automation and I dont even know how to code, how fucked am I if I actually get them?

One is for a popular no code automation tool but still has some learning curve, and the other is mostly api automation with some mobile automation.

Can I make it relying 100% on ai tools like chatgpt? I literally dont know how to code at all or use an IDE. Shit I probably cant do manual api testing. I already started studying the tool but the other one is gonna be tougher to pull off. And before you ask, I’m passing the interviews with ai.

Okay here's what you do
>get the jobs
>say you need some time to form a codebase
>do nothing what so ever
>hope they eventually forget why they hired you but still keep paying you
>they go bankrupt in the crash of 2026
>you're off the hook

You're a retard, but I'm feeling helpful because I've been dealing with mobile automation bullshit for a while now

First thing, learn basic python. Don't care what tutorial you use, just learn how to do scripts, create and use virtual environments and how to download packages using pip.
Then for api automation, you can use the inbuilt requests library in python for doing http requests to api endpoints.
And for mobile automation, look into appium and use the python library to create scripts. Getting a local android device setup with uiatuomator2 is simple enough.

When I was young, I bluffed my way into a job running a printing press with zero clue of what I was doing outside of general first principles, that paper feeds into cylindrical plates coated with ink that transfers to the paper and goes into an output stack. I had a little less than a week to figure out what I was going to come Monday morning at 8am.

In my case I decided to first do a quick deep dive on the larger "map" so I could speak intelligently on the topic. I visited the local college library and managed to find some books on particular printing presses so I could understand what things were called and the general theory of operation.

Second, I spent days game planning my day one approach, and I decided on the following: first, I would ask politely to simply watch, observe, and take notes. If anyone wanted to say anything or elaborate, great. If not, not required. It turns out not pressuring anyone to explain anything means they won't shut up about everything. Which is great. Take as many notes as possible.

Then, take all notes and write them into a "story" with the "whys" and basically read it to someone. They'll stop you and correct things, and try to patch up the story in real time and keep reading it until they say "yeah, that's about right".

Then, you actually try to do it, and you will fuck it up miserably. But now you have people invested in your success and they will help you unfuck it. Try to understand why it got fucked and fix it.

Finally, just decide you will not worry. If it doesn't work out, not a huge problem, thanks for letting me in the door to learn a few things. This way your brain can focus without spending mental resources on "what ifs". Keep this to yourself, however, never talk about it. But just know that you don't really care what happens, you'll just give it your 100% best shot.

Good luck faggot.
