Why is finding a quiet mouse so impossible? All i want are silent clicks. Why do i have to suffer a noisy mouse when i dont have to suffer a noisy keyboard?
>>
Considering most new notebooks use haptic feedback trackpads it's actually insane that nobody's made a haptic mouse yet.

>I can't work right now boss, my mouse click dB is too intense, I need to figure out how to noctua my mouse, the clicks are driving me insane, I just need to buy something to solve my issue, feed me silent dB slop, I ran an analog decimometer through a FLIR lens hooked up to an Arduino running TrembleOS and saw my mouse clicks are crossing zero this is literally insanity I can't live like this

I've already tried the m330 silent and it wasnt silent. My only options now seem to be mx master 3s which i doubt is more silent than the m330 because its the same brand. The mx master like the m330 is capped at 125hz so i dont really want to buy it. Then theres the razer pro click mini but it only has 15 million click switches. The scroll wheel also seems loud as fuck on videos ive watched on it. Then the keychron m6 exists. I have a keychron keyboard and thats what makes me dubious. The scrollwheel is metal so just imagine the noise. You can buy with silent micro switches rated at 20 million clicks but the scroll scares me.

mouse buttons are giant plastic shells over a cheapest spring microswitch, of course they're noisy as a toy drum

use a touchpad silly

Silent switches are terrible in terms of reliability, orders of magnitude worse than regular mechanical microswitches which are already bad in terms of reliability.

The problem is also that quiet switches is only 10% of the noise. Lets say you get a op1 mouse like i did. Everyone said it was super quiet with kaihl silents or huano silents. The problem that occurred was that it didnt matter what silent switch i used because the mouse was lightweight. Its basically a hollow mouse. So when you click you hear the noisest fucking mouse sound you've heard in your entire life. Worse than any other mouse i have and mind you this is with silent switches attached. Switches mean nothing if the inside of the mouse is hollow
