Is there any advantage to using arch over cachyos besides the muh bloat schtick?I don't exactly care for saving a few megabytes of ram or storage and it sounds like I'm getting all its advantages with none of the drawbacks

Because it has decent defaults that take in consideration modern hardware.EndeavourOS is supposed to be practically just a graphical installer for Arch. It adds like 10 packages over it. It's very clean, but mostly, it's just Arch with a different logo. I used it for quite some time without issues and it's honestly good.Manjaro became retarded and went too far into being "its own thing" while ruining people's lives. They DDoS'd the AUR several times and is responsible for multiple claims of "Arch breaking". It's like its retarded cousin.CachyOS is something in between. It doesn't go as far, doesn't break the same. But it does include a few repositories and patched kernels by default, it does make your life easier if you have an nvidia GPU or you want to get games just going without resorting to using an immutable OS like Bazzite. It also sets up snapshots automatically if you choose btrfs (and if you choose Limine as a bootloader, it adds an entry to boot from them) without doing anything. Not too dissimilar from openSUSE. And it has its own small, concise and easy to follow wiki for the sort of stuff it changes from Arch.Unlike other distros you can very easily turn Arch or EndeavourOS into CachyOS as well, they provide a guide for that.

Been on it for a while. Good system aside from the shitty printer driver setup cups and first setup with my brother printer was a pain.What is trying to do now is figure out how to get optiscaler to work not just for steam but for epic, gog and pirated games and how I can force fsr4 for my rdna 2 gpu. Windows it's easy. On Linux not so much
My only issue with Cachy (and I think it applies to all arch based distros, because I recall it happening on EOS too) is that I constantly have package downloads stall at times. It doesn't matter how I set up my mirrors, it will happen no matter what mirrors I use. Download many packages really afast and then suddenly 0% and I have to wait, or it'll interrupt the process and throw timeout errors. I'll have to run that update once again.In contrast debian based distros didn't give me this issue (mint/ubuntu were pretty fucking fast) and when I tried Nobara it was really fucking slow to update, but it was consistent.

Bazzite is good for newcomers since Bazaar with Flathub is just great. Most people do not know what immutable means though and try to copy paste random sudo commands into their terminal. Turns out that won't work. Personally I can not use an immutable os because I want to generate anime porn with GPU acceleration and can not get it to work in any immutable distro.

I'm using nobara at the moment, it's solid. I don't know how well arch holds up but fedora seems to take abuse well, pushed some emulators and graphics acceleration locking up the system but no errors beyond that.
