I got a Tuta account after getting the app from f-droid and was using it every day and liked it even though it has some poor interface design and you can't use IMAP without giving shekels.

Then I sent my personal friend that I was having a conversation with an email with 2 JOOTUBE links in it and his email provider which is his web host bounced it as SPAM (yes, BASED, fuck JOOGLE/JOOTUBE). After the bounce notice came back the TUTAJOOS locked me out of my account (yes, BASED, fuck allowing people to spread JOOGLE/JOOTUBE). It logged me out on two devices and said my login credentials are invalid, and the recovery code didn't work either.

Since free accounts get no support you have to give shekels but even regardless of that you have to always worry that you're going to lose access to all of the accounts everywhere else you have with the TUTAJOOS as your email address.

FUCK THE TUTAJOOS
>FUCK THE TUTAJOOS
FUCK THE TUTAJOOS

Hopefully this will save someone from getting themselves fucked by the TUTAJOOS.
>>
Get fucked. Should've paid. Free users are not entitled to a product.

I would have become a highest level paid user for life and sent regular extra donations once it proved itself for three months.

May God give your aids a boost.
>>
>>107007345
i call bullshit, you probably tried logging in after a long hiatus.
Free accounts expire after 6 months if you dont use them.
>>
>>107007345
OMG, something I never used, and never even heard, is a in a condition that us word that is not in the dictionary.
Congratulations, OP, you just said NOTHING.

Ahem:

You hear this a lot: "A thread died for this." While accurate, this phrase generally carries no weight. But just this once, if you would do me a favor and hear me out, it would do all of us a lot of good.

A. Thread. Died. For this. You woke up this morning, poured yourself a bowl of Faggot Flakes, moistened them with your impotent Faggot prostate milk (which IS in fact impotent, because you're a fucking faggot) and, within seconds, decided that today of all days would be the time you decide to cut your synapse firing quota by just a little too much.

So you hopped online, carved out this uninspired chicken scratch, probably failed the captcha once for every strand of peach fuzz on your half-empty sack, and clicked Submit.

At that moment, a thread died. A thread that could have been bumped. A thread that could have been resurrected with content, or valuable discourse between its denizens. Hell, it could've even been bumped for absolutely no reason. And that would've been okay. Because, had it survived, a few more seconds could have been spent without having had your abortion of a post been born in this world.

I opened the account two weeks ago max. I already knew about the 6 months. I kept it logged into on the linux desktop app, and my phone app. I used it daily.
>>
>give me that... for FREE!
Interesting mentality OP.

yeah, E-Mail sucks. instead of bothering white men with all these humiliation rituals, just rangeban everything besides North America and Europe
>>
>>107007345
Kek, normies and their clearweb slop. kys
>>
>>107008711
While I agree with banning everyone but NA and parts of Europe from literally everything, it wouldn't solve this kind of problem because there are plenty of spammers and scanners among our own. The problem here is the insanity of this one company's system config on automating reasons to shut off people's accounts. It apparently absolutely trusts the judgement of an outside system flagging something as spam and rejecting it. That other company's flagging system is gay, but shutting off an account due to trusting that other system is way more gay. It let me know that it's dangerous to trust the TUTAJOOS with your access to all other accounts that you use their email service for.
>>
>>107008759
you call them TUTAJOOS but even if true, and even bigger gigajew is forcing their hand
If they don't do this to you, someone else is going to do this to them and kill their buisiness
that said, their system is retarded and they should just lock outbound emails and have an appeal process
>>
>>107007345
me scusi
>>
>>107008785
How is their hand being forced to lock you out of your account because some web host email service (as provided for people's domains hosted there) doesn't like that you tried to send one of their users an email with nothing at all but 2 JOOTUBE links in it? Not to mention this was someone that their own system could plainly see was sending me emails themselves, so it was not a random out of nowhere thing. TUTAJOOS seem to just think someone flagged it, who cares why, that's it, lock the user out.
>>
>>107008830
all correct, they're retarded. But it's life or death for them to not get on the spam blacklists.
they can survive us hating them, they can't survive being blacklisted
they're still lazy niggers, but its understable why a lazy agent would act like this
>>
>>107008929
Ah, that I do understand. I won't trust using them for my own access to all of my other accounts, banks, brokerage, etc. but I do understand that circumstantial orientation.

usecase for any email provider other than posteo?
>>
>>107009067
I was originally going to use them but the photos around the office on their Team page revealed them to be extremely gay. This was all confirmed by having so much stuff on their site about being "green".
>>
>>107009092
>don't want to use an email provider that just works™ because it looks "gay"
your loss
>>
>>107009154
You caused me to go back and look again and I saw some signs that it's not as gay as my first impression so I might just go ahead. I already made a Proton one after the TUTAJOOS JOOD but I don't want an "ecosystem", I want fuckin EMAIL and that's it. That's why I went with the TUTAJOOS instead of Proton to begin with. I want all of their attention to be on making the email as solid, secure, useful, and reliable as possible. You might be very right and I need to look past some surface biases.
>>
>>107009154
BTW, something I saw when I went back was that you get the 2 aliases. Proton has aliases in Pass and I like that, so it's a big plus that Posteo includes that feature.

Is int.pl a good host?
>>
>>107009205
>nigga thinks we clickin that shit
>>
>>107007958
NTA but what fucking good is an email that auto-deletes itself due to inactivity in the first place?
Free account or not, it's fucking retarded.
Fuck your storage space, every other goddamn thing is bloated to hell and back but "NOOOO we can't keep peoples actual fucking data around if they aren't constantly sucking our cocks and validating us!!!"

>Implying the data was ever actually DELETED and not just made INACCESSIBLE

Those private emails and data aren't going to sell themselves when they finish legally suplexing the TOS (just like every other goddamn company is slowly doing at a a glacial pace)

>>107007404
Hey! Get a loot at this faggot, he actually pays money for a fucking email address!
>>
>>107009268
For what little I used it, messages are not marked as spam. IMAP/SMTP works if I check a box in settings. Pretty standard webmail ui (is it roundcube?). And don't have to pay a cent. I just don't know what the catch is
>>
>>107009345
Well if I wanted free email and was fine with potentially nefarious literal whos being able to read my emails and have access to my brokerage communications, I'd stick with cock li.
>>
>>107009398
It still lives? Haven't followed since 202?
>>
>>107007345
Speak like a normal person.
>>
>>107009404
Yeah, last I saw he had to remove roundcube due to a hack but it's still there.
>>107009426
If I were a normal person then 4chan wouldn't be my only social media. I'm here for a reason and being a normal person is the opposite of that reason.
>>
>>107009446
No, I mean I literally cannot understand what you said.
>>
>>107009521
The subject of this thread is the TUTAJOOS so you'll need to start a separate thread for a personal skill issue, and probably on a different board, like /adv/. You could go there and ask WATDO when you can't understand what others say.
>>
Wow this is a good thread
>>
>>107009701
It is definitely good if it saves anons from losing access to their important accounts because of the TUTAJOOS.
