How irrelevant is this chart today?

I don't think Python should be given a 1/5 on the difficulty scale. If you want to write "Pythonic" code you'll have to delve into abstractions that are unlike what most other languages look like.

heres an easier flowchart
are you indian -> javascript
is your sex and gender different -> rust
are you writing for embedded (note - actual embedded and not """"embedded"""") -> c
are you quickly shitting something out to automate some task once only and will never look at it again ever -> python

here is an even easier flowchart for learning a language:
do you actually want to understand the fundamentals of software and you have a high IQ
yes -> c
no -> pick anything else

Just too many things that are straight up wrong I guess it's meant as satire.

>Average salary ~100k
More like minimum wage or unpaid internship because nobody is hiring

I'm Mexican and willing to work for a subhuman wage to an American overlord (Mexican economy is so bad that a couple bucks can buy me a mansion). I'm not a brainlet so I'm capable of thinking, and I want to work for something big (like Google or Microsoft) on a future that may never come, what should I pick?

It's a pretty lame chart, with all outcomes shitty, except for the C programming language.

"The only winning move is not to play".

Python can get unnecessarily difficult if you mess with it like changing class members at runtime and silly stuff like that. Of course, you need to learn "advanced" Python, but it is pointless -- you end up with shitty code anyways. Better to use a superior, higher level language.

fixed that for you

It was made in 2014, see the Objective-C card

Not as irrelevant as Objective-C and Ruby.

Pretty much. Just multiply the dollar amounts on salary (eg; senior C++ devs are US$200K+ today).

I quit JavaScript when I found out that you can't even load an image from your own computer to your own browser for testing purposes
